For pre-op and non-op girls, do you ever pee standing up?

Eww! No! I'm a girl. Girls sit down.
Only when I really need to.
Sure, all the time. As long as I'm stuck with this thing, I might as well use it.
I'm not pre-op/non-op but I want to see the results

I sat down to pee at work for the first time today. I'm also wearing panties to work for the first time today. I think I'm going to stick with it. The thought if doing it standing up is actually bothering me now.

It shouldn't be obvious to anybody else at work that you only sit to pee. They don't know what you do once the stall door is closed. Also, they have no way to know that you are wearing panties unless you tell them.

Yeah I know but I had irrational fear regarding both. Its something my therapist mentioned and why she encouraged me to shave my legs. The legs will potentially be noticeable in the neighborhood so it's a little more rational, but like she said if you can't deal with something as simple as shaving your legs and bring visible in public how are you supposed to transition.

I think the term squatting should be added to the voting poll because no one "sits" in a public resting area. lol   But for me I dont mind standing in a private restroom. If I'm in a public rest area then I'm pretty sure some alarms would go off if someone saw toes pointing towards the toilet instead of away. ;)

I'm not a germophobe so I have no problem sitting as long as it looks decent. Usually if it looks bad enough I'll hold it until I can find a cleaner place to go.

For me every since I hurt my knee about 4 years ago possibly longer I don't remember anymore I have sat to pee and have not missed standing once. It actually feels strange to stand and pee anymore. If you need some advice starting think of it as a small break you get to take. Squatting doesn't sound to bad either but haven't tried it.

Somehow I think that would be awkward for both parties involved

I thought about this, how I'd have responded if I heard this in the women's bathroom. I'm not really sure. There's this scene on Orange is the New Black where Poussey is trying to make something to stand to pee because the prison washrooms are so gross lol.

The day that I figured out that I was transgender was the day that I started sitting down to pee. It's been almost three years now.

I do mostly do to that's how I have done it since a little tiny human, so I guess I just got used to it, and the difference of how I pee really isn't important to me as long as I can pee.

Always sat down and always will. I dont really know why I started doing it as a child, just seemed natural

Also saves a lot of cleaning

It has now been 16 years for me and I have not stood even once in that time. I started sitting because of occasionally getting splashes on my pants and wet spots on them from getting the last spurts after tucking that thing back in.

The biggest problen with sitting is the limited number (frequently only one) of stalls in many men's public restrooms. However, sitting has become the natural thing for me and I am actually paranoid of the thought of standing.

standing up or sitting down does not one person more trans than the other.
I've always sat for the most part, for me it was easier and living with just a mother I didn't want to make a mess.
As I got older and well going in public toilet in an all boys school you sort of have to stand. I didn't mind it and moved on, it wasn't something I hated doing and if I had a choice I wold sit.

Into my HRT and post SRS, I had to sit when out, into my HRT if I was lazy I would stand and even now I've tried learning how to stand & pee (not as easy as you would think).
Yes! I'm single
And you'll have to be pretty f'ing amazing to change that

Non-op.  I pee sitting down at home.  It is I that has to clean up after myself.  When a urinal or bush present themselves, I do it standing up.

Since I'll be having my SRS soon it's a good thing I'm used to sitting down as I've done so all my life. Somehow with me standing to pee seems wrong, and always has. The only thing that's going to be difficult after SRS are those emergencies where I have to pee in a cup in my truck. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to still do this as I lean out over the edge of my seat now to. I'll just have to lean a little more forward. Good thing this is only an emergency thing, lol!

I sit to pee... like... 99% of the time. Idk, it's just more comfy and has always felt more natural to sit... seemingly more so recently. I mean, I can stand and do it I guess... if I have to use a public restroom and the only thing open is urinals, sure, or if everything is dirty... but it is never really 'comfortable' peeing like that, and not from a dysphoric stand point either.
