Do you pee standing up?

For pre-op and non-op girls, do you ever pee standing up?

Eww! No! I'm a girl. Girls sit down.
Only when I really need to.
Sure, all the time. As long as I'm stuck with this thing, I might as well use it.
I'm not pre-op/non-op but I want to see the results

I never liked standing, tried it when I was young, but way too involved for me....  I do however, stand/squat against a wall (car, tree, etc.) and pull my panties down to pee in an emergency with no bathrooms, not sure that counts as peeing standing up though.
Since you pull your panties down and assume a "sitting like" position I would call that squatting. Even though I have a male appendage and currently present as a male, I pull my pants and panties down and squat when outside. Standing would be doing it through the fly in my trousers when in a totally upright position and I have become paranoid (fear of splashing all over my pants and retaining urine) of that.

My answer isn't up there.  Sometimes, doesn't necessarily have to be in a "only when I have to" situation.
Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!

Some of us live close to the land and to the wetlands, rivers and oceans that surround us.  Some of us travel on foot along trails and paths.  Some of us are outdoor gals and still sophisticated enough for any occasion on the town.  DO what works for you, Thank you

Ha. Yes I try to "do my business" away from the trails and water sources. But in reality you want moving water anyway or filtered standing water with a lifestraw or similar. If I'm camping where there are no facilities I will make my own according to what I learned in scouts.

ImagineKate is correct: there are several commercial companies that sell such outdoor camping tools.  Obviously they are in business because there are women, cis and trans, that stand to urinate under some circumstances.  Diversity applies to all sorts of human functions.

I would probably make quite a mess if I tried, I started sitting to pee about 6 years ago after a partner said I had to. Though I have done it standing in the shower a few times.

You got it.  Surely the girls on this site recognize the guys are frequently talking about STPs?  That's right, stand to pee devices.  What works for some!

Well if I want to sit down, I need to take half my clothes off.

Much easier to just flop it out. I probably give my colleagues stage fright though. High heels + peeing standing sounds ftw.

Sometimes, but I'm learning to get used to sitting now that I have some outfits where standing isn't so straightforward.

Honestly it feels a lot cleaner sitting so I have no complaints. Certainly feels strange after standing most of my life!

Zoetrope, I expect you would give people something to wonder about seeing you dressed as a woman standing appearing to pee as a guy.  They could have many other things more serious to worry about.

I mainly sit these days, except when in public then I stand. I also have no bottom disphoria, its there so I use it.

Everybody pees in the shower... I'd feel awfully weird sitting to do so.  ;)

I close the door behind me, of course.

Hey girls I have to update my reply on this.
I said first time that heck no I sit every time.. well thats not true anymore.
As time has passed being full time.. I have become confident in who I am now.. so it does not bother me to use it.. so to speak out of convenience.. I mean why not right!!
However I always sit in the woman's bathrooms in public..
Muah!

I'd sit whenever possible, especially if I was all dressed up. Only once was I glad to have a penis because I had on a nice outfit and the port-a-potty was absolutely filthy inside. Wet floor, and almost everywhere else wet too.

I intentionally had my last stand up pee on June 9 2015 at 3:30PM before heading into the operating room. After that, well sitting is now a necessity but no regrets.

Love,
Clare

At home I do sit. At other places I was at sitting until I got sick of cleaning or even flushing other people's stuff. So, when I see dirt, I do stand while I can.  ;D Later I will just hover, probably with worse aim than I have now.

It seems to have come too with the full time, @Keri. ;)

These days I cannot aim properly so I sit.
