Fat redistribution idea

so i was wondering if i were to lose weight say 20 lbs then pack the pounds back on would the fat i get from putting it back on be distributed in a female manner or would i just get it in the same place. 3 months hrt btw YAY

I think it would go to more female places. When I drop weight like that if I gained it back if would go to female body areas

Yes, from what I read it does. You can further influence it by choosing certain food types. Different types of foods tend to cause fat to collect in different areas, so I am told.

Excellent idea I shall try this. I've lost a lot of weight on HRT cause I'm just starting and Im hoping to gain a few back in the right places. interesting though I wonder what foods we can use

It can help.  However, the fat cells don't die because you lost weight, they just shrink.  When you put weight back on, some will go to the old areas and some will go to the new female pattern areas.  The idea is to bounce weight – over and over again.  Not easy but that does work.
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

Depends on genetics. I tried a similar experiment recently after SRS (since I was recovering for like 8 weeks with little exercise) and 3 years of HRT, with no luck. It went right back to mostly guy places... a little more to my boobs and rear... but not a huge difference. Give it a try... worst thing is you have to hit the gym harder for a few weeks.

I think it depends a lot on genetics. I started at 135 and was down to 125 after a month of HRT (muscle loss probably). I stayed at around 128 for 4 months and my body was seeming to replace muscle for fat, and then recently in the past month I've been trying to gain a little weight to see where it goes. So far, I've gained a healthy 8 lbs and it's nearly all gone to my butt / thighs. My tummy looks basically the same as it's always been. I've never been overweight though, so maybe the whole cell memory effect does hold true.

Either way, I'm kind of okay with gaining even a bit more. Towards the end of this year I'm going to do fat transfer to the hips, so the more I have to transfer the less likelihood I'll need implants to make a sizable difference. I'm still well within the healthy range for 5' 7" with a medium/small frame so a little more couldn't hurt ;)

I thought about asking the same question. After being on HRT for over a decade I thought this would be my last shot. I have too much muscle mass, especially on my arms and quite concerned about this.

I am interested in this topic because my fat doesn't seem to want to touch my hips or much of my face.

I have exactly the same problem. No fat in my face but a lot of fat on my belly. If only I could only reverse those two things. Since I've been on HRT I have drastically lost a lot of facial fat making my face and cheeks look really hollow.

Lately I'm trying to have a lot of high calorie days mixed with very low calorie days, so I can be kind of losing and gaining a lot, and get a lot of fat turnover without having to actually lose a bunch of weight upfront and risk the skinnier face. Not sure I have had much success, but I hope that it's just because my HRT dose isn't perfect.
I think alternating weeks might be a better idea; just so the body has time to process its lack of food. I feel like a day isn't long enough to complete a cycle. :(

Not to bring up lipo, but I suppose that would be one way to get rid of those cells for reals and force your body to make new ones in hopefully better places?

I've also considered that possibility as I've given myself more than 10 years constantly on HRT and it's not working the way I want it to. Lipo seems to be the only option to at least get rid of the unwanted belly fat. Strangely I'm skinny apart from my belly which almost look like I'm pregnant.
