I will be writing a back to School article for my local LGBT rag in a couple months. Normally I write about TS issues that I know about and I do not go into territory I do not know. However the entire issue will be a back to school issue so my topic is already set in stone.

My biggest problem....
I have never been a TS/TG person in a school environment. Back in my school days I was safely closeted and attempting to pull of the man act rather miserably, thus resulting in plenty of harassment. So I totally know what life is like for a pre everything closeted trans child....it isn't what my editor is looking for. ;)

So I thought I would turn to you folks here and ask for your input.

How do ya'll folks who are transitioning/transitioned at school approach the matter?
What were some unique hurdles you had to face, are facing?
Then vrs now...
Bathroom issues.
Stealth vrs open advocate issues in school.
and anything I just absolutely must address?

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.
