I'm soon going to schedule my SRS, I want some advice.

So I am planning my SRS for september/october 2014, with either Suporn or Kumol. I'm thinking of getting a BA and tracheal shave soon as well.

Has any of you know, or done, both SRS and BA at once? What are your general ideas about it?

And what are your experiences with Suporn and Kumol? I'd like to hear about the negatives as well.

There was one woman at Brassard's at the same time I was who did both; she said the recovery from BA was harder and more painful than the bottom surgery. (She also had to massage the implants daily, which she said was annoying on top of all the crotch aftercare. )

Never, ever would I consider doing both SRS & BA together. After SRS getting around is tough enough... now imagine not being able to use your arms to help you get up/down after that procedure... no way. I've also been advised not to do both procedures together by more than one SRS surgeon as well. I'd wait at least 3-6 months between procedures.

Tracheal shave - Pain's not very bad
SRS - oh boy! I needed morphine drip for the maximum time allowed (4 days). Extremely Painful.
BA - I don't have yet maybe never but my friends who had both said it is more painful than SRS. They said it's like a semi truck press against their chest.

So I think it depends on how your body can tolerate pain. Each person is different. It would be nice to be able do it all in one trip under one general anesthesia. Only you can decide for yourself.

One girl who  was in Thailand at the same time as I was had BA done at the same time as SRS, if I remember correctly he surgery lasted like 12hours  , and just as others said she said the chest pain was far worse than the srs, but she was kinda regretting doing both at the same time. There is a lot of aftercare with both surgeries and if you cant be off work for 6 months or more I wouldn't suggest doing both. Also my doc was  Dr.C. for reference. SRS was one of the most painful experiences I had initially other than the pain of dysphoria

I am leaning towards doing the tracheal shave first, here in Brazil, then SRS in Thai. It will be easier in the end and less painfull. I still have hope that my breasts will grow naturally to a point I won't need BA. I have been on hormones for only a little more than a year. So, I will leave that one surgery for last should I need it.

A wise decision also food for thought, eventually (from what I heard) the implants have to be replaced at some point, and multiple times, also  regular mri's to check on their condition, I may be mistaken on this also I would definitely wait post SRS as you may have additional growth, I have on this account.

Yes, from what I have been told by docs and have read, growth happens in up to 8 years or maybe 10. I am not wiling to wait for that long, but I guess since I still some gowth now and then, I should wait until at least 4 or 5 years to see if they reach a size I am comfortabe with.

Most people get a growth spurt within the year following SRS. Therefore it makes sense to leave BA for at least that long after surgery. However, if at that time your breasts are still smaller than you would like you should then consider having it done. I certainly wouldn't wait for 5 years

Tracheal shave - Pain's not very bad

Thats correct, the trachea is not that painful, I had a trachea shave the same time as my SRS, it worked out cheaper at the time, it felt like a sore throat, I was a bit hoarse I had to rest my voice, was a little sore but not painful, the SRS was painful, Im glad I didn't have my BA same time as the SRS. I had surgeries separate in this order, FFS, a BA, then SRS and trachea shave together. I had a BA redone a few years after my SRS.
