I think I am going to choose Cardenas because he is with
In maybe 4 months ....

But I have lingering self doubts....is he good enough?
Will h give me that feminine curvature of the forhead??
Will I have a small petite nose??

But no others.  .

Do you think he can just do ffs or can he make me pretty....

and Xchristine your so right. i was worried and scared until i was actually able to meet him in person the same day i got off the plane. when they walked me back to the pre op room the next morning and i saw him. i was chill then. you will be too. he gave me some awesome pain meds for post op. i was so happy and felt no pain.

I know that feel, the lack of before & afters has me worried too. My thoughts on this are that he doesn't work on alot of trans women and does mostly cis women, there aren't alot of satisfied mtf patients showing their pic's because he isn't skilled in ffs hence the super cheap price to lure you in. Idk the only people I see saying good things about him on here are tristan or new members with one or two posts. I went on FFS support forum and the ladies there didn't seem to like him or his work, they said he's good if you don't need alot of work done or if your cis female.

The lack of ffs pic's is a red flag, i mean even the worst surgeons have a few before & afters pics to show off. I know his prices are tempting but i'd do more research before jumping in head first.

Yeah that's true. Alot of there patients are transsexuals . And he does do good work. I know of quite a few girls that have gone to him and have been happy with there results. Red flag? Psh... Just keep in mind lots of people don't want there face everywhere online being passed around. I have recently kind of joined that group of stealth like women . After a incedednt last week I see why they tell the doctor not to post pics . But if you wanna think he does bad work go right ahead. He will keep on making t girls dreams come true either way 😉

Yeah i'm a member there and I didn't see any in the picture gallery, there was a pdf file in the files section that showed his work and imo they looked really strange like you could tell they had plastic surgery. I know someone that went there and she said she was the only trans person there and the doc said he works on more cis women then trans. Her results turned out really good but the 3-4 other examples I saw were kinda ->-bleeped-<-ty so idk. I think he can do good work but the results aren't as consistent as a surgeon who has years of exp doing ffs on trans people.

Just keep in mind lots of people don't want there face everywhere online being passed around.

That's true for any ffs surgeon and yet you can still find lots of before & after pics from the other surgeons.

After a incedednt last week I see why they tell the doctor not to post pics.

It's not important. I just found out the importance of being stealth. And alot of us like him, he hes not for you then you can go else where for a doc that you feel is a good fit for you but he does the best he can with what he has to work with. I don't wanna sound mean I I will leave it at that about surgery on faces 😉

He did my brow work nose and check. Im also going back to him for hips this year. If not then in January 2014. And yup I do have pics before and after. I de transitioned before I went to him so the pics look pretty wicked. I likes em 😉

Hey does anyone know if Tyler is still the go to contact guy for contact with Dr. Cardenas people? I had some work with the Dr. exactly a year ago and it went well. He performed a MIRAC:E on my chin and I really like the nose that his wife dide. I will say the jaw area seems a little on the conservative side for my taste and its taken the year for me to see the final results and be healed and I'm interested in perhaps a revision on that and also considering cheeks, i maybe should gone with some cheek implants but i'm not sure.
Anyways I emailed Tyler and one of the Cardenas websites the other night but I havent heard from anyone. Tyler was always really fast with the response and contact which is one of the things that made me feel so comfortable going. I had a great trip and my life is much improved now.

Okay great i'm sure he'll get back soon. I can be impatient.
Christine it's gonna be great they are so nice the accommodations are so great it's quite a beauitful place theyve got and very serene and you have like all kinds of stuff to watch on the telly and they load ya up on the pain meds I will say my recovery and pain post surgery was tougher than i expected it to be I was not like tristan with the easy breezy fabulous pain free recovery but hey its major surgery and everyone is different... i'm in my 30's and i dunno... i'm a big wimp i guess! LOL! but now that i'm recovered i'm just really ecstatic i mean i used to basically hide myself in big hoodies before i would go anywhere before even in the middle of the summer and now i feel confident and secure and happy....
But I still would like to consider cheeks maybe lips and possible revision on the jaw. its not jacked up or anything i just want it more aggresive i guess. and i miss them down there its kinda fun! Dont even worry. You are in good hands. I was so scared and so nervous before i went you dont even know. just total panic attacks lol. But it was awesome. And the chin and nose i got its like nite and day.
