So yea  :P like the title says, day before yesterday I started lactating, or at least discovered they was producing. So the exact date could be off. Anyhow.  My question is, I think its cooler then all hell. Dont ask me why. I've heard the debates that its just your meds being wrong/to high/to low/or your body is just acting up.            My question is if I keep the stimulation up to keep allowing production, will it hurt me in the long run?  can it cause damage to my body?

Nipple discharge can be a side effect of hrt. With me, it started only a couple months after estradiol, and even if i don't work out the fluid for months, it always is able to produce, so 'maintaining production' i doubt is necessary. As long as you inform your doctor, I don't see how stimulating them would be a bad thing.

What color/consistency is it? Mine is clear and sticky

clear and sticky, if I really give them a good massaging and a working over, I can get runny and milky white.

No and no as long as you're not having it as a result of a pituitary tumor. If this is going to be your little fetish and you plan to extend it then you should be taking vitamin and mineral supplements along with calcium citrate as these things will leach from your system over time. There are couples who enjoy adult nursing relationships (ANR), some that have gone on for ten or more years. A bit kinky for me but there are TG couples here that do it as well, so it's not too unusual and I may just be a bit old fashioned.

It MIGHT be a bad sign. It might not, too. Just ask your doctor about it. They'll do appropriate tests and you'll know.

I've been on HRT for many years and never been able to lactate? I wish I knew how to effect lactation? I have a friend who can do it but I can't. Any tips on how to achieve this?

You can mimic pregnancy hormonally.  Or you can try pumping your breasts.

Look at this link: How to induce lactation

I didnt try to induce it, it just happened on its own. But my constant three times a day for 30 mins each probably had something to do with it, and the lotion I used was made from  Wild yam.

Yeah? You think?  8)

If you are stimulating like that, it can happen.  If you want it to cease, lay off.  If you want it to increase, keep doing what you are doing.

Here is a page about inducing lactation.

I have been following this protocol since last summer, and just about ready now to bring in my milk.  Everything A-OK.

I was lactating last year..

I wanted to experience breast feeding, so with help from a doctor,, we made it possible.

My doctor changed my hormone medication doses, which as she said mimicked  pregnancy, actually tricked my body in thinking it was pregnant. I also took some herbal tablets to help with the milk production.  (You still cant pass a pregnancy test, i tried.. apparently those tests look for a hormone, which only comes from a fetus).

I must say it was a wild ride, i was very sensitive and had mood swings...I even had some morning sickness in the beginning.  I was actually asked by a someone I know, i am sure i am not pregnant (She does not know that I am trans). only people close to me know my secret. My breasts become fuller, as the my milk tracts matured.

Yes, started to produce milk.. I actually got a breast pump, and would extract milk.. I did not produce as much milk as a mother would. When I started pumping, very little came out, but as time went on.. flowed nicely.. I enjoyed the feeling of the breast pump, pumping. It creates a seal on the nipple and feels nice as it extracts the milk. I would pump about 15minutes a time... I had a double pump, so i could do both breasts at once.

After a few months of lactating i took a tablet to dry up the milk.. My breasts are fuller now and that seems permanent and my hormones medication was returned to the old dosage.
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

I have milk blisters on my boobs (I still love saying that: my boobs!) so I'm afraid to stimulate them too much.
  •

Teela Renee

wth, is a milk blister, that doesnt sound very nice.

lol it sounds worse then it is. They don't hurt. All they are are these little whitish dots on the nipples. They scared me when I first noticed them but some other girls have them too. For genetic girls, it means your pregnant. It's a plugged duct so I maybe should try to stimulate lactation to get rid of them.

Yes, started to produce milk.

It is good.

I have been on the induced lactation protocol since last summer, and soon my NP will give me the OK to bring my milk in.  Usually the birth initiates full scale lactation, and I was at the nine months mark in April, but my NP wants my breasts to develop a little more to catch up, on account of not starting hormones til way after high school.  My breasts are very heavy now.

My partner and I are looking forward to it when my milk comes in.  I have been able to squeeze a few drops out since Christmas or so, but my NP says to leave them alone, let them develop.  It drives my partner loony -- she'd be on my breast constantly. :D
