okay so i was flicking through a legal studies textbook today in class and i flicked to the marriage section. In my country lesbian/gay marriage is illegal. I read a little further and it said that partners cannot marry if either is transsexual. I was livid. I cannot believe it. Why can't they marry? They are women. Can't they at least be able to marry transmen. i mean, they are opposites. When will I be able to marry. I'd love to legally belong to someone else. I have not transitioned yet but now I know my chances of love are destroyed. So I can't marry men or women? That's so lame. I bet it won't change either. My country's female left-wing prime minister is on thin ice atm and the only other option is an outdated religious male idiot who is against the LGBT community. So my future is screwed. When I change my sex i hope the world is better because frankly I am ashamed of my nation.

Don't swear, read the rules that Virginia posted you.

Also read the Act. Same sex people cannot marry in Australia. Post gender reassignment you are female and can marry males. You cannot marry other females.

The law is stupid but please read it before you question it.

Thought Hong Kong was conservative. They just allowed post op transexuals to marry in HK about a month ago, but it took a High Court Appeal. So come here and get married....
When we first start our journey the perception and moral values all dramatically change in wonderment. As we evolve further it all becomes normal again but the journey has changed us forever.
