The worst part about transitioning is my expensive taste (I'm very poor).  I'm going to have to learn how to find inexpensive jewelry asap.  Besides, being the hippie that I am, I could never wear diamonds that I suspect came from questionable circumstances.

I love everything that's been posted so far.  Maybe this will give me some inspiration to start getting some needed accessories.

@Teela and LTL

Well get inspired!!! It doesn't have to be pricy. You can get verrrrry cheap costume jewelry @ consignment/thrift stores, online, or at garage/yard sales if you are adventurous etc. :P

I know.  I can't wait till I work up the courage to go shopping in public.  I know my sister and my friend will go with me for some support.  As of now, I feel a bit awkward buying anything girly in store.  Having said that, thank god for the internet,lol.

I just love jewelry esp. old jewelry  ;D

Me too! Accessorizing is such an important part of building an entire outfit. The right necklace, ring and watch can take an okay outfit to fabulous in five seconds.  Lately I have been wearing a lot of yellow gold but I think I am going to start buying more silver pieces or white gold. Well actually more imitation white gold I don't own any real expensive jewelry. I love buying jewelry. Such a great topic!!!

Consignment stores are a blessing!  You should check them out.  I've gotten a few friends of mine beautiful jewelry to start them out from my work.  Half the pretty stuff I don't even get to see because it gets bought before it can even be put out!!

Thrift stores are usually full of nice jewelry & maybe a nice jewelry box at a very low cost. Usually they will sell you a bundle of nice items very reasonable.

We all need lots of accessories for the right occassion & time of day or night & color of clothing, nails.

Thanks, love a fun topic.
