How long after blood test till letter?(Scotland)

17 days ago in Glasgow I got the all clear for HRT and blood was taken there and then. I was told duplicate letters would be sent to both me and my GP. Just how long will this take? (I starting to hate the postman and I know it's not his fault!!) Can any Scotssexuals shed some light on this or perhaps my UK colleagues from Wales, Northern Ireland or England?
