wow, just wow! In guy mode you were both a bit scary looking (sorry) but as ladies, gosh, what a wonderful transformation into very approachable women. What amazes me with you both is how larger your eyes appear to have become. I'm presuming that has nothing to do with surgery or makeup...?

Anyway, congrats to you both. Very inspirational.

Firat of all, Merry Christmas to all of you wonderful ladies!!! Azahara, Shantel, Grace and Marieee, thank you, Ladies! It's really sweet of all four of you to say such nice things, and every compliment makes me feel even more that my efforts have been worth it. Grace, I haven't had any surgery at all. I think that my eyes are just happy, and in my pre-HRT I was undoubtedly seriously depressed and what seemed to be a case of terminal drunkenness, lol! I'm alive and happy most of the time. I can be down over physical problems with my back or my knee, but pretty soon, I'll look down at my hands, or catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and I'm instantly in a better mood. I waited so terribly long to transition and for years I believed I was just too old, angry, bitter and ugly, but I painted myself into that proverbial corner where there wasn't one more alternative than kill myself or transition. I transitioned and have experienced such peace, happiness, and far from feeling isolation, I was proud to be my late brother's sister, and I so love being a daughter, an aunt and a girlfriend and a woman in love with a pretty special man, all things I never thought I'd be able to ever experience, but have. Maybe that' why my eyes are bigger. I'm amazed!!! Hugs, Mira

So.. a year later....

So amazing

Seeing your picture there are two tottaly different people.
The on on the left looks so sad and tired. The posture of the body, like the person wants to sink into the world and not be seen.
The one on the right. Toally opposite. Looks like a happy person that wants to reach for the sky instead.




Seeing all of your photos. In the before photos, even when you smile your eyes say something else. And in the after pictures the eyes match the smiles.

I don't know. I don't see much difference in my contours of my face even though there is something there I just can't put my finger on.

Eloij, you have lips to die for, for starters. You already looked somewhat feminine before HRT, but I see shades of Liv Tyler in your facial features, and she's absolutely stunning. Anyway, I think you're a cutie, on your way to gorgeous!!!

On another thought, do any of you other full time girls/ladies literally not remember what you looked like at all before HRT and then living 24/7? I look at the photos of that person with a half-assed Fu Manchu, and I don't even recognize her, because that woman's mask was discarded 29 months ago. It's nice to get compliments on the changes we've all made, but honestly, the pre-transition photo makes me sad, and I'm not only glad I don't remember the way I once looked like, I'm not sure if I want to post the pre-hrt photos again. I like the new me and abhor the old, suicidally depressed woman and actually find it hard to look at those old photos of a former existence, never a life. I received a lot of strength on this thread though, seeing so many women who gave me hope when I had absolutely none, so much so that I'll probably keep posting anyway. I know my changes are pretty drastic too, so I hope they help someone like I was helped so wonderfully. Hugs, Mira

Your observation I think is quite valid. In the first picture I was still working at Valeo 7 days a week for months. It had become a toxic and hostile workplace for me. I was so stressed out that I would throw up every night. I was also on a lower estrogen dosage.
having said that, there is a certain peace that came from being fired there and moving on to my next job. Only6 people know I an transgender at my new job.
