April, if your in NYC anyway and the consultation is free might be worth checking out and letting us know. How long per visit, how many treatments initially, cost per hour & average total treatment hours, appointment lead time, etc etc . . . ?

An option to E3000, for me, would be Lucy Peters. This is a studio with several locations that promise fast and permanent results. Not inexpensive, but because of the promised speed, it would prove to be less costly for me. They also speak of much less pain. I'll see my therapist today, and I'll ask her for recommendations, but I was hoping for some input from the community here as well. Everyone is different, and I realize that one person may have good results where someone else may not be so fortunate, but I'm hoping to find a place to start. By the way, Lucy Peters has a website,

I'm trying to balance everything out financially, with therapy, electrolysis, doctor/hormones/lab tests going on now, and trying to plan the funding for voice therapy/ffs/srs in the future. No one ever said that transition was inexpensive, but considering the alternatives.....
