Hey everyone. Just thought I'd post an update.  :)

I've been on HRt for 1 and a half months so far (Estrogen for the last 5 weeks, just started anti-androgens) and here are the changes I've noticed.

Physical:

-My nipples have grown buds and have been very sensitive for the past 4 weeks or so, My breasts have begun to take shape too. My Endo said they were reacting very positively to the HRT and I could end up with possibly a c cup if things continue as they are which is great hehe.
-My muscle mass has decreased a fair amount especially in my back, it has a more slender appearance now.
-My skin has started to soften.
-I don't have near as much Libilo anymore.

Mental: My emotions are much more forth coming certainly. I tear up more easily. My sex drive has also decreased a fair bit too. Plus the best thing is that I feel so happy, the dark depressive thoughts rarely surface anymore and I just feel right you know.

I found out how to to avoid pain.

Put a pillow at 45 degrees under you (shape of a diamond) so the corner of the pillow rests between your bewbs.  Works for me :p

lol that's funny! we all find ways to cope I guess!  For me, I got a bra that's my "sleep bra". :)

Also, you are ten months along and still have this pain? oh jeez, guess this is something to look forward to then :) I'm a heavy stomach sleeper, but now my body is adjusting to side sleeper some of the time now to avoid this pressure.

I've read a lot about peoples libido's decreasing as they take HRT, is this something that should be a cause for concern? Or do things get better? Or do women just simply have a lower libido?

My libido def. dropped on week two.  Its not a bad thing at all :p MUCH more peaceful.  It doesn't necessarily always drop, but majority of the time it does.

Interesting, so you prefer it? As far as gender is concerned, I've only ever experienced a physically male body, packed with T, so I wonder what a lower libido would be like myself.

My first few weeks on E my libido went a bit mad. Felt like a frisky teenager again tbh. Settled down a bit after a while though, and ever since adding an anti-androgen to the mix it has pretty much become a "conscious decision", i.e. my libido is something I can ignore unless I feel like not doing so.

This. except the first part.  I wont say my dose of AA's, but I was on it before the E injections, and after week two gone.  I was actualy frustrated week one it wasnt working, but once week two happened I was ecstatic because I knew *it was working*.  Now, its no more random, or morning "swelling" as I refer to it.  And more so when orgasm happens which has been twice in the last two monthes now, its a wash over my body feeling, and only once was there discharge.  If tmi on that sorry, and I will go so far as to say it wasnt a masucline discharge.  I wont ellaborate unless asked but I think anyone who has experienced it for the firt time, it was a-maz-ing.  beyond that.  and ya. lol.

but ya, suppression of libido was one of the frst things i noticed along with skin sensitivity and nipple soreness.  Now, emotional overdrive.  when i feel an emotion, i realy truly 100% feel, for the first time in my life, everything seems right with my emotions and is coming along with my body.  Month two is doing me good as well...
:)

This ride is ore then I'd ever ask and it just keeps getting better.  Now if only I could supress apetite (ya, my endo without saying doseage has my E levels up to around 5k), its like i am pregnant withought the swollen belly and what goes along with that, like a baby and all lol.  A ton is going on I am only grasping daily in small amazing amounts because stuff is happening soooo fast <# best of wishes :)

Paige. I had the same reaction and response to my hormones. Within just a few weeks I had hard nipples darker aerials and more breast tissue. Hugs. Shannon

I'm sure everyones reactions vary.  I was worried at first it would drop, but now that its 99% gone, im not bothered by it in the least. Things are more peacefull down there.  :)
