Someone just told me they called my house over the weekend and asked to talk to me by name.

They said my wife told them "My husband's name is <old-male-name-that-I don't-go-by-anymore>! I don't want to hear the name Suzi!" She proceeded to tell them how irritated she was at them for using my female name.

You really should move out of that environment. She is not going to change or accept your transition and you can't force her to accept it. I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying that's how it is and the only thing you gain by staying there is loads of grief.

Yes, I'm working on that. When there are children and property involved it's just not that simple.
