Just like it has been mentioned that the test is no better than a woman's magazine test test of 'are you*', it does serve a purpose.
If you had no doubts about your gender, you probably wouldn't have seriously taken the test. It's an Affirmation of sorts.
If you took the test just for the fun of it, somebodey showed it to you, etc., you probably would have your eyes wide open from the results.
It's accuracy has no confirmation whatssoever, but it is a good indicator that we all share gender traits to one degree or another.
You get what you want to get out of it. But angain, more importantly it confirms what you already knew.
That's important. You won't find a friend doctor or even very many therapist who could do it the same way.
If Everyone took the test, the entire population, and chewed up and spit out the results, I think people would find that they aren't so different from one another.
What it does allow each of us to do, is to have a small confirmation of who we feel we are. That's invaluable in itself.
It may just open the eyes to others as to how close we all are, gender wise.
There is only one true male and one true female. The rest of the world falls somewhere in between.
It's up to each individual to decide where and how they define themselves after that.
Your score is fairly meaningless if you go into the test with preconceived ideas of who you may be.
With out those preconceptions, it would at best give you a good understanding of everyone is somewhat a part of either of the binaries.
Truth be told, with out drawing your own line somewhere, most everyone are non-binary or has some of each of the binary genders in them.
There isn't a true binary among us. But there is by each of our own definitions that are held together in common belief by society.
Sorry I just rushed through all that, if it sounds like it, it is.
On the run
