I don't believe it,

you say that you think you know the meaning of love.

Do you really think it can be told?

Why couldn't I have been one of the lucky guys that had some natural feature working in my favor?  Meh

We're all gonna live out the Hollywood dream
Everything's gonna be just what it seems
Gonna find a better way to run our cars
All through the Eighties
'Cause the race is on, we're gonna land on Mars
All through the Eighties
The Video Screen will open up the door
All through the Eighties
Information - there'll be more and more
All through the Eighties
Will the man on the street finally know the score

But I saw a kid with no smile on his face today
Where is my place in this bright future, I heard him say
I've lost my hope there isn't anywhere to play
(Pull up the trees and put up a parking lot)

The play's been written we'll all be in the cast
All through the Eighties
And our feet are gonna point away from the past
All through the Eighties
Will supersonic travel be our ticket to ride
We'll have cruise missiles, they think as they fly

But I saw a kid with no smile on his face today
Where is my place in this bright future, I heard him say
I've lost my hope there isn't anywhere to play
(Pull up the trees and put up a parking lot)

Time will go and the years fly by
All through the Eighties
And we'll have another slice of American Pie
All through the Eighties
Credit card living, push button cash
All through the Eighties
We'll pay our money and we'll take our trash
All through the Eighties
And another generation will "Talk about their Generation"

But I saw a kid with no smile on his face today
Where is my place in this bright future, I heard him say
I've lost my hope there isn't anywhere to play
(Pull up the trees and put up a parking lot)
I saw a kid with no smile on his face today
Where is my place in this bright future, I heard him say
I saw a kid with no smile on his face today
Where is my place in this bright future, I heard him say

I'm thinking about my hair and about how pissed off I am that I am thinking about my hair.

I kind of miss being able to say I'm a broke college student.  Now all I can say is I'm just broke....

Anybody here familiar with the movie "When The Wind Blows"?

When i saw it it made me cry and i felt really terrified and depressed. I was actually cowering in fear at some point. I'm downright paranoid at times.

It's a masterpiece of british cinema and has a really great soundtrack by Roger Waters and David Bowie.

What's wrong with thinking about your hair?

It makes me feel more self conscious than I'd like to be. My hair perpetually looks stupid and I don't know how to fix it.

Watch him ride into the sunset
He'd have the little fat guy
right along his side
Echoing off the canyon, Hey Cisco
from Pancho 'n' pretty soon
the black sombrero would reply
Hey Pancho what's happening mi amigo
It's getting somewhere near the end,
this winding trail
When we've raced around the corner
for the final dusty time
Mr Renaldo 'n' Carillo's
going to jail

Can't open no more supermarkets
Duncan's sombrero's hanging
up there with his guns
Some cigarro sucking slag
under a chip Hollywood chandelier
Says 'Cisco, Kid you know
your day is done
Let me know how you are doin'
Mr Renaldo
if you need me I could be
a friend for life
There don't seem any point
...we should throw 'way
all these years
Why don't we saddle up
and ride out one more time

What they doing to my friend
What they doing to my man
Don't matter when
I'll stay to the end
Hey Cisco
Let's go out in style
We're going down together

i'm still as confused about myself as i was the first day, if not even more, it has only been pushed in the background so i can enjoy life again instead of sulking in my room.
All the confusing feelings, they are weird, uncomfortable, restless, contradictory...........

I'm losing time and my mind
Why can't I ever have what's naturally mine?
I got life and the things that go with it
If there's something else, where can i get it?
Lying there waiting, waiting for the kill
Oh man won't do it, but the devil will

Well here's my views, I always lose
Things I want to do are yesterday's news
Say life's a ball, I've had it all
Out there in another dance hall
Lying there waiting, waiting for the kill
Oh man won't do it, but the devil will

Take me as I am, an excuse for a man
Wherever I push someone stops my hand
As a matter of interest, tell me if you will
Why didn't Rosemary ever take the pill?
Lying there waiting, waiting for the kill
Oh man won't do it, but the devil will

Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!

I just want to scream. As loud as i can. I'm on the tail end of a major depression-related mood swing, my gender issues are back and i forgot my depression meds and i don't know what to do with my life (become part of the corporate machine, brrrrrr...., just another worker drone.......), whatever happened to old me, that's right, old me died in January 2013 and was on life-support since January 2012 and in a bad condition before that.........................

The sky is red, I don't understand,
past midnight I still see the land.
People are sayin' the woman is damned,
she makes you burn with a wave of her hand.
The city's a blaze, the town's on fire.
The woman's flames are reaching higher.
We were fools, we called her liar.
All I hear is "Burn!"

I didn't believe she was devil's sperm.
She said, "Curse you all, you'll never learn!
When I leave there's no return."
The people laughed till she said, "Burn!"
Warning came, no one cared.
Earth was shakin', we stood and stared.
When it came no one was spared.
Still I hear "Burn!"

You know we had no time,
we could not even try.
You know we had no time.

You know we had no time,
we could not even try.
You know we had no time.

The sky is red, I don't understand,
past midnight I still see the land.
People are sayin' the woman is damned,
she makes you burn with a wave of her hand.
Warning came, no one cared.
Earth was shakin, we stood and stared.

Congratulations ;D
I second that.

I'm thinking about power. (What else is new?) I'm thinking of how to increase my knowledge and intelligence, how to increase my physical abilities, and how my plans for this may take several years. *sigh* Oh well.
I am also thinking of something my friend said. He's going through a rough time and he told me he would rather go through a rough time than risk change (even though that change is more likely to help him get better). I expressed confusion over why one would make such a choice, he asked if I ever felt something was pointless, I told him yes but I fight anyway, he said not everyone has it in them, and I asked what is it that I have that he doesn't. He replied that I have a stronger will. ... I always thought that was something one chooses to have and that everyone has the potential to have. Oops. Now I'm really confused. I don't know what to think.
I am also thinking of a quote I saw: "You think it's a weakness? Make it a strength. It's part of you, so use it." I'm wondering how I can turn not getting along with people into a strength.

Mister America
Walk on by
Your schools that do not teach
Mister America
Walk on by
The minds that won't be reached
Mister America
Try to hide
The emptiness that's you inside
When once you find that the way you lied
And all the corny tricks you tried
Will not forestall the rising tide of
Hungry freaks, Daddy . . .

They won't go
For no more
Great mid-western hardware store
Philosophy that turns away
From those who aren't afraid to say
What's on their minds
(The left-behinds of the Great Society)

Hungry freaks, Daddy . . .

Mister America
Walk on by
Your supermarket dream
Mister America
Walk on by
The liquor store supreme
Mister America
Try to hide
The product of your savage pride
The useful minds that it denied
The day you shrugged and stepped aside
You saw their clothes and then you cried:
THOSE HUNGRY FREAKS, DADDY!

They won't go
For no more
Great mid-western hardware store
Philosophy that turns away
From those who aren't afraid to say
What's on their minds
(The left-behinds of the Great Society)
