Hi Everyone,
Well, I'm a little over three months into HRT now, and wow, I'm absolutely loving the journey so far, it's been amazing.
I can quite safely say that there is no going back for me now, it's onwards and upwards from this point forward.
The only big hurdle that I've really been having to deal with at the moment is what seems to be these wicked spikes in my T levels. Maybe around 3-4 times a day when ever I get a little annoyed/aggravated over something I begin to get extremely angry, and not just angry, like wanting to break something angry. Also, on some, well most occasions when this happens, I can feel a rush of blood going to, well you know my boy part down below, which can often trigger a semi erection. I really hate it, but I just can't seem to avoid it happening. I had blood work done a couple of weeks ago as part of my three monthly check up to test my hormone levels and my doc said that they were all fine, so I'm really at a loss as to finding out why this is happening. It's not all the time, I mean for most of the day I feel quite happy and am quite mellow, but if I'm around say screaming/crying children for instance & I've had somewhat of a bad day at work, I just all of a sudden feel this spike in testosterone happening, and well I just flip out and as mentioned most of the time feel a rush of blood down below. I hope this makes some sort of sense, I really don't know how else to describe it, but it is really starting annoy the hell out of me. I keep telling myself that it will probably just be a short term thing, and should pass in the next few weeks, but too be honest I'm really not too sure. Anyone else experience anything similar??
Thanks in advance,
Annah.
