Yes.  D'oh.  Could have put that clearer.  They're both quite cute.

Thank you <3 first time I've been complimented on my nose and jaw. I always get my eyes; eyebrows and eyelashes.
You know I'd rather say nothing; and just be proud of myself for tearing down these walls.

Hi everyone! I am rather new so please bear with me while I get a hang of posting on this forum.

I have been able to pass with makeup for a while. This was me at 5 months of HRT. http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/6092/tj80.jpg But I have always been really self conscious about how I appear without makeup. I am coming up on my 10 month mark on 08/31 and was wondering if anyone thought I pass when I show this picture of me without makeup. http://imageshack.us/f/39/2z98.JPG/

Yes, Miss C, you look female to me.  Welcome to the site.   :)

MissC, Welcome. Either way, you must have light facial hair, I don't see it in your none make up pics. Wonderful complexion, good shaped face for hrt. You do your eyes really well. When you smile your cheeks really shine. Pass either way.

This is me from day to day :) Sometimes light makeup sometimes darker.

Definitely femme.  One face-on picture can't tell the entire story though.

Going with a 'less is more' approach instead of my old 'spackle everything!'.  What do you think?

Jaelithe, You are somewhere in-between, but leaning heavily into female. No, I guess, I am wrong. I keep looking at this pic and I look at diff parts of Your face and well, I am really confused in the positive sense :).
When I look at Your pic, I am getting impression, that if You add or take a little and very subtle bit, and You will totally shift into female. Or, add something else, I can imagine You as very bohemian male artist - male, but deff not masculine.
Your jaw, eyes, cheeks and forehead are 100% female. Your brows have that slight masculinisation effect, but then again Your hair is just great. I cant see Adam's apple either...
Honesly, You just need the HRT - but it will take a long time for You to see the differences, because the only thing You might need from the HRT is that female soft glowing skin, which would tighten Your cheekbones and that's it. You have all the rest and just need to tidy things up.

P.S. I like this pic 100 times more than the one in Your avi...

This pic is about 100 times more /me/ than the other one was too.  T shirt and jeans with minimal jewelry and makeup.  Getting dressed up really fancy is fun once in a while, but far too time consuming for me to deal with on a day to day basis.

Soooo, I guess I'm probably jumping the gun(or just WAY overcritical of myself) by shopping around for FFS prices then? ^^;

Say whaaat??? You cant be serious, can You? :) I, myself, am not very much looking into FFS (apart of rhinoplasty, perhaps...) and You have waaay better start than I did :)

Totally serious.  I keep seeing all the little things in my reflection that say 'man' to me and they make me want to go curl up in bed again.  Of course I can't /do/ that, but I frequently wonder if it could be worth the expense just to never have to see 'man in a dress' in a mirror again x.x

I don't see any problem with cosmetic surgery to fix something you don't like about yourself.  You don't need it to pass but if it helps your confidence it may be worth it. And I'm sure you know very well that you can't expect it to make you happy, that's more an internal thing, still it might be an option.

If I can indeed pass without going that far then it will definitely move down my priority list.  I decided that face and voice were the most important parts of passability to me, so I looked into each of those in turn.  I should be starting voice therapy this coming month, and if that doesn't produce satisfactory results the Suporn Voice Surgery I've been reading about here looks like a fantastic alternative.  As for my face, I suppose there's really a chance that I don't see the posatives because it's mine.  If everything goes well, maybe HRT really will correct the flaws.  Here's hoping, and looking forward to starting that part of my journey(Waiting has got to be the worst part of this).

This time I'm actually in girl mode, with some light eyeliner. Pass or no?

I looked back at some of your previous posts.  Definite improvement.  The only thing that's really standing out to me still is the brown bone.  You might be able to hide this a little better with some bangs or if its an option, FFS.  Overall if you have the voice and the carry yourself confidently in a feminine way, you probably won't stand out too much to the average onlooker as male.

+1 I totally agree with Alice. You're looking pretty good though Miss!

I honestly don't see why you shouldn't.  From a "male" perspective, I think you have a very soft, feminine face.  At first I thought that the lower half might have a slight broadness to it, but after looking at it for a while, I think it's good.  You're very pretty.  ;)

Ok, so this is my first time posting and I'm a bit nervous. I haven't gotten to start HRT yet so this is just me with a little foundation and clothes. I know I should start HRT as soon as I can, and my chin is horrible, but anyway what do y'all think? (plus what should I work on first)
  •

Christine167

I actually like your chin Blastradius. You look like a very hip chick to me. :)
