Faye,
From my perspective you look totally cis female. I can't see a thing to critique!

Alright, I decided it's time I posted. Give me all you got. I apologize in advance for the terrible acne ): I've been working on it, not as much as I could, but I've been trying. It's just a pain in the ass to get rid of. No make-up, HRT, and real hair. I decided to take several to give more of an idea

So nervous ><

No reason to be nervous.  Let me just comment about the acne.  It is pretty well established that acne flares are often associated with testosterone.

Testosterone is "male-type" steroid hormone known as an androgen, and it is directly responsible for many types of acne. Inside the pores of your skin are tiny glands that produce a type of oil called sebum. Sebum helps to carry dead skin cells from the follicles to the skin's surface. When there is too much sebum, the follicles can get clogged, and pimples form. Testosterone increases the production of sebum--which is why it is a major acne culprit, according to an article published in 2009 in "Medical News Today."

Once you begin HRT, and especially taking an anti-androgen, your skin will most likely begin to clear up.

One of the very first things I noticed after I began HRT was that my skin was noticeably softer within a few weeks.  It took time, with masques, exfoliation, and moisturizing, but you can also work on eliminating the large male-type pores too.

Let's look to the future.

Okay, that first side view suggests that you have a bit of an issue with the brow ridge, and the relationship between the brow and the nose.  Look at his stock profile silhouette:

Which profile is more like you right now?  Truthfully, I see a bit of both.  Which is good news.

Her neck is thinner than my lower arm!  I'll never pass with that kind of competition!!!

On HRT, you will lose muscle mass in your neck.  It was quite noticeable for me, even at 6 months.

@ Erin - wow, your hair is getting long.

My x-ray vision doesn't work over the computer, but I am sure, from all you have posted, there is a girl inside there somewhere.

Remove facial hair; regrow scalp hair (or consider a wig); some makeup.  Go over to the Before & After topic if you don't believe me.

EDIT:  Let me clarify.  Never say never.  I have seen amazing things happen with estrogen and AA's.  Changes in fat distribution, changes in body hair (my leg hair is almost completely gone), MPB reversed, lots of good stuff.  It is just wildly variable - the old phrase - your mileage may vary.

To be honest, I'm trying, I'm really trying, but I'm having a hard time gendering you as male.

Am I doing any progress in regards my presentation? ;)
I am quite sure I am not getting gendered as male here, but I am getting impression that its rather andro than fem yet - still cant complain - it could have been less and worse for 3.5 months into HRT :).
Cheers!

Growing out your hair will help a lot, or getting a good wig. It's a little short, especially on the sides, and I think that tends to make you look more androgynous than feminine. The clothing also seems rather neutral to me.
I'm not sure how you're doing in your progress, as this is the first picture I've seen of you, but as far as physical appearance goes, you're absolutely fine, and the other stuff should be rather easy to correct if you want to go for a more fem look.

I have no idea if I pass or not.

I have to admit I don't care!

My avatar was yesterday, no make up, just me in normal every day life.

I had just driven home from work.

Sit. I'll take a pic of you, he said.

This is me, real life.

You look like a really very attractive cis woman, well dressed and very feminine. Personally I think you are just gorgeous Cindy!

That's a cool picture and a cool car.

You're a highway star, Cindy.

You look 100% cis to me.

Stella, I don't see anything remotely masculine in your picture. The shape of your face, especially, screams "girl", and your bangs easily hide any eyebrow or forehead features that might be a problem
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I remember the avatar you used three years ago.  You have come a long way.  You pass with flying colors (or "colours" as the case may be)  ;)

Cindy your new profile pic looks beautiful I love it! And I love your attitude about whether you pass or not your happy with yourself and that's all that really matters.  ;)

Hmm, so "could I pass" is on topic, right?  Honestly, I'm going for MtA / Mt(FtA) / "honey, I broke the genders," but if you ladies would help a non-binary sibling out, I'd be much obliged.  I'd like to figure out "female," then I can blend from there.

Before (fresh-shaved and lip balm only)

- I have a square face, right?

- Beard shadow needs to be covered, adam's apple contoured.  From what I've seen on YouTube, it's amazing what well-matched foundation and concealer does.

- Speaking of highlight / contouring, how the heck do you learn this?

- Eyebrows.  Oh, eyebrows...
So, I'm leaning towards a fuller look for several reasons.  Square face, would like them to look okay in male mode too, and more "tomboy" than "glamourous."  Am I asking for too much?

Maybe... (thx, Photoshop!)

- Hair... mmm, androgynous asian boy-band singer?
