Harlow, I wonder how much of that chin is actually muscles. You have very feminine jaw and chin does not distort the feminine effect, IMO. I have seen female celebrities with the exact same chin btw :). And Your chin is not masculine either - it is a bit backwards sloping - if I am not mistaken - instead of being thrust forwards, all square and angry :)

Why thank you Emily

You made my day, I feel like when my hair grows out and with changes I will grow into my chin...if that makes sense lol XP

A few years back in my 20's I had a few people say I looked like Jennifer Garner (back when Alias was a new series) And when I think of celebrities like Rose McGowan who has a cleft chin it makes me feel better about it!

I'm quite curious what people think of me from my pics, and while I am intersexed and have been on hormones a while, it's always good to get constructive feedback from others :)

Oh and there are some pretty folk in this thread :)

Eek.. it takes courage to post here after the last few fabulous ladies, and I am sure you are tired of looking at me besides but.. ! I tried something new, and I'm not really sure if the look is flattering or not.. please be honest, and let me know if I come off as even remotely female in any of these.. thanks!

OMG please quit toying with my brain Anastasia, you need to go to the "Fabulous" thread. I can hardly stand it knowing that you feel so insecure about your drop-dead-gorgeous feminine looks...Sheesh!

I am sorry!! ;_; I don't mean to be insecure, I am just new at actually being seen when presenting feminine Lol! This is all very new to me, so bear with me.

Okay, so full body shot time!.. Kind of. Am I likely to be instantly clocked wearing something like this? The pants are male, but I am not sure if that's an instant give-away :/ I really need to go clothes shopping, but actually trying on female clothes (I really have no idea where to start size-wise with ordering pants online) is just too nerve wrecking when I present male.. of course I am sure it all gets easier with time, but I would like to be reasonable sure I pass at a glance so I dont have that to worry about ^^ - if that is a possibility.

Too obviously masculine? I also need shoes, so it's gender neutral Adidas (at least they are purple ^^) for now...

100% pass! There is absolutely nothing I could possibly critique you on. Like I said before, people would kill to have your looks from top to bottom. Go for it sweetheart, you're a winner!

Anastacia, that is a great look and dont worry about the clothes - the shirt is great and the pants are just pants - whatever - back at college most of the women had jeans or some other unisex clothes. Actually I always liked unisex clothes - puts the focus away from thinking about the need for fabric to be accepted in the gender one feels to be. If you can go for it without setting stronger signals with fabrics, then its even better so. And I think this is definitely working out for you. I think in some situations it would be seen even weirder to put on dresses or skirts (like the college I mentioned - the few women who wore such things were the exception and received more attention (which at this point may not be what you want, depending on your personality)). Also IMO for some reason I think it is harder to "pass" in extremely feminine attire than in a more regular or even a bit "butch" style. I guess people look at women who wear very feminine clothes more closely and expect the women to be extremely feminine as well and then are startled when the women actually is not a total feminine doll but a stronger personality with some rougher patches ;) .

 Thanks Shantel, your support is heartwarming. Definitely makes me feel better about myself ^_^ Sorry for making you put up with my constant insecurities.

And thanks for the tip, anjaq. That makes sense.. I think it's part of the 'dress your age' that I have seen discussed before.. I guess nothing gets a perfectly passable mtf clocked faster when buying groceries than dressing like a 21 year old on the way to a night club. I definitely don't want to stand out too much.

That made me laugh! :) - yes that hits the nail on the head - buying groceries looking like being on the way to a night club - or maybe being 21 but dressed like 30 - or 14... This really is what bothered me a lot I guess about some transpeople I knew. Of course it is however fun to dress like a 21 year old on the way to the night club - which is why I did that at times - and then went to the night club :) - ok, I was 24 at that time, but hey - 3 years off, a MtF can pull that off, we are usually thought of being younger anyways from the looks.
Dress always according to age, situation and I guess to a degree your persona. A more shy person would not want to go for ultra short mini skirt and high heels no matter a trans or cis past ;)
But I guess that is sometimes a learning process - after all we do lack the experience of actually being 14 and dress like a 14 year old girl and then growing out of that and gain insight into what IS appropriate. But I found that can be learned quite fast when opening ones personal perception and just take a look and some sane thinking ;)

Clarity

Just realized that I haven't taken any photos of myself in a while. I just changed my profile photo to the most recent one of myself (from 2 months ago!). Anyways, I think I'm making some good progress and was wondering how well I'm passing nowadays. I've got a few more of myself I would like to share on here but I'm not completely sure how to do so. All my photos are currently either on my facebook profile or on my computer. I would like to know how to link to them using image tags. I hope to get a new photo of myself taken soon.

Well I think I finally figured out how to attach a pic so here's mine.

Are you male, biologically? I mean I can see why you have problems using the men's room.  What I don't see is why you would be worried about using the women's bathroom in the slightest.

Go pee in the ladies room, you won't be questioned about your gender.

Clarity and Christine get my total pass.  Alexis I love your hair, smile and gentle eyes and you can be the critic about that movie star's chin.

Christine, you don't look male in the slightest way and i really mean that. 200% Pass. Nothing to really critique on. Based on that picture, You don't have to ever worry about passing.
