Much better indeed amazing what a smile can do! Emily I can see some small changing happening there now with the comparison pictures. Your cheeks starting to round out a bit more, clearer skin, hair softer but that might be fresh out of the shower deal!

But they are there!

A.  But oh so gorgeously androgynous.  I want to give you pixie-burns.  (Lolwhut?)

Why thank you n_n !

And I'll have to google that hair cut to get an idea of what you're describing  :P

I see what you mean, I have those but they're longer :)

I actually had long hair past my chest a few years ago. I cut it off but still had the pony tail, so I actually made extensions out of it yesterday and I just have to sew it on clips now. So excited, who would have known a 4 year old pony tail would come in handy :P

I still have to color them again, the blue wasn't sticking in spots so it looks green. Anyway as soon as I get them finished I'll take a pic and post it for sure  ;D

Akira and Music, thanks for your feedback. The chin/jaw has been a point of worry for me. I've been told I don't look as male when I'm in motion, as I've always had rather feminine mannerisms, but pictures always look dude-ish. Also, thank you for saying that about my nose. I've been kind of worried about it, so I'm glad you think it looks femme.

Do you know of a good website that sells makeup for beards and such? I really don't like going out in public, so online shopping is my preferred method.
I'm not here to decorate your world.

The only thing I could possibly see that's somewhat masculine is the jaw, but I think the biggest thing would be the hair.  You're beautiful now, but if you let your hair grow out, that could help.  However, I do find you 100 percent passible in the avatar as is, but I can't quite put my finger on it.  I think it's possible that darker clothes help you pass better.

Emma, I would not worry too much about facial structures yet. I think for now, getting rid of facial hair if you have some (in one of the pics I think I see some on the upper lip) and maybe doing something with the hair (different cut or style) and eyebrows (just regular plucking in shape) would be good steps, then give HRT some time. I think the rest looks good.

No, I would not think so (I dont exclude that later on in case you do have some "brow bossing" that is noticeable, but I dont see that on the images you put up). For now, plucking is enough. There are thousands of instructions on that in the internet like this one: http://www.wikihow.com/Pluck-Your-Eyebrows
Many women do it regulary for beauty reasons. Basically it is 2 steps: you determine how the eyebrows should look like (there are various ways to determine that and it depends on what people consider beautiful) and then you start with a tweezer and pluck the hairs out that do not fit the shape. Usually the best way is to pluck only the ones below the center of the brow, meaning to start from your eye upwards, not from top down. That way you can get a clearly defined line of hair above your eyes and that looks already very well then. Dont get tempted to remove too much though - a very thin eyebrow is not attractive. Of course plucking has to be repeated when the hairs come back, just like waxing or shaving legs. I chose to let electrolysis be done on the brows as well (which is technically a medical procedure in a way) as I did not want to keep plucking, but that is really just a cosmetic thing (and one of the reasons so many electrologists exist and make a business even without transpeople around ;) ).

Well I am in a graphics sort of mood tonight so I decided to do a quick little drawing of how I have come to shape my own eyebrows. Maybe it will help you a little? I started out with this tutorial http://hairremoval.about.com/od/eyebrowshaping/ss/eyebrow-shaping.htm and over time kind of tweaked the shape to my exact liking. I went really really slowly with it, taking little bits away at a time whenever I would tend to my eyebrows. It made for a really smooth gradual transition.

Here is basically what I do now:

It seems to me with shaping your eyebrows as an MtF, there are two main goals:
1) raise the lowest point a little (females tend to have higher set brows) and
2) add an arch shape (tends to distract from or beautify excess brow bone)

I hope this helps you! In closing my only other advice is take it slow and good luck!! You will be stunned at the effect it will have on your face... I can already see it :)

Also, note the area that I typically leave untouched. Taking away hairs there can make things look a bit unnatural. As well, you don't want TOO much arch, or you will look like you are angry or something :P I would refer to the tutorial for just the right amount of arch.

I think longer/more feminine hair would do great things for you.  Also, you have really nice looking legs.  Don't be so harsh on yourself, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we can't all be the supermodel version of beautiful.  Looks aren't everything that make a person beautiful, a concept that I know is very hard to make yourself believe, especially around a group of people whose main issues are often based entirely on looks i.e. passing.
Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!
