Thanks Ladies! Just feels that my progress is going so slowly......I know at my age it's going to take longer, but I had a lot of early changes then bam, nothing perceptible after that
That only means you're already there. :) In the picture with your glasses on it wouldn't even occur to me to doubt you're anything but completely female. I live in a very strict and unforgiving area regarding gender roles and presentation so that strictness and scrutiny has grown on me, and I can't find any reason to doubt your sex.
Also, I think that in the b&w pic you're a classic femme (and I'm not referring to the clothing or the photo processing-but your facial features).

Hugs, Vanya.

Don't know if this is an overtly boyish/androgynous look, but it's the best one I could find (since I made a clean slate on my database recently). 18 years old and due to start the psychological evaluation process in about a month. Personally, I see no need to pluck my eyebrows even though they might come across as a little thick.

I don't think you're likely to pass... by anyone without them getting a whiplash.
It's not boyish at all, you look like a girl in a plain Tee. Utterly feminine at that. Best luck on your journey!

So do I post my best or worst photos from the set? I went with my best.
I finally shaved my beard tonight and threw on this Halloween wig! No make up in these photos and no HRT yet.
I wish I could just go to work like this tomorrow :)

With some rhinoplasty you will be just fine. :)

Only thing I see is needing some fat in the face, well and a real wig.

And KelsieJ? I love your eyes! Just... Don't give me puppy eyes, I am sure I would have trouble resisting those.

I bat my eyes when I'm in trouble, lol!!

Sorry for the graininess of the pictures but what do you guys think of how I'm starting to look? Guess it is time for another picture update. Also I've been presenting as male for almost a month as I just haven't been feeling all that well with dressing lately. I keep taking my hormones because I need to keep going forward and I will feel just terrible mentally and physically if I stop taking them. Well on the positive side I'm so happy I found this hat and I think I look real cute in it =^_^=

Julie, I just noticed your post that got buried a couple of pages back there.

Your facial features are coming along AMAZINGLY. Your skin has gotten so soft, and everything has smoothed out so well, and you just have a fantastic bone structure in terms of the position and proportions of your cheeks and chin. You're there once your hair grows out. Seriously. That's the only thing keeping you from being gendered female right now. (Well, and maybe the male t-shirt, but whatever.)

And yeah, I agree, you definitely are starting to look real cute. With those pinchable cheeks, your smile just really lights up.

You're going to do great! This setback of yours is just a minor roadblock. Keep at it, and don't give up!

I very much agree with Carrie! Your looking great, and a really delicate chin as well. Hope your well Julie :)

Thanks guys, I'm really starting to notice all the changes that have been happening especially since switching to injections in August and having my estrogen through the roof and T down to female levels. That goal is to get my hair twice as which I'll show off when I get home. Also I'm looking for a pretty andro to femme look. And btw the Led Storeroom shirt I got on is my favorite shirt I'm the whole widest world lol

You know, I see this happen a lot here. I think members are looking for honest opinions, and in many cases get sugar-coated replies. In this case you have to be honest and say that women don't have noses like this. It's a dead giveaway. This is also true for myself.

Makeup, clothes and wigs can make many of us look somewhat more feminine, but not passible. This includes myself. Let's not be delusional! We need to be honest and see what parts need fixing, because the truth is for the majority of us, our faces are too masculine. People can be polite and not say anything to you in public, but they still know.

For myself, I have no plans on trying to pass without some FFS, because I'm not going to set myself up that way. It's bad for the self image and it can be dangerous to your safety. I try not to make myself look stupid!  ;)

That's my 2 cents and in no way meant to be harsh.

I dunno, you pass pretty well as a middle aged woman in your profile pic.

Thanks. I think it's just a good angle. And lots of makeup. Other photos from the same night weren't very good IMO. I did fool a lot of people, some that even know me. But I still want to have work done. Mostly my nose, lips and probably my brow and maybe my chin/jaw. And I need a facelift.  lol

Thankfully I'm short and small, so my frame offsets the more masculine facial features (which I don't really have much of), and not having grown taller prevented the large brow bossing, etc.

I'm curious to see how my face changes on E, but the nose has to go!

From seeing your profile pic I'll be honest to you. One try and be a bit more subtle on the makeup, lots of it doesn't mean you'll pass. Also FFS surgery will do wonders, go to a reputable surgeon and have them take a look at you to give a professional opinion. Depending on your breast growth implants may help a lot but wait until you've on hormones for four years or so to get the maximum natural breast growth. Lastly I haven't heard you speak but work on your voice, a lot of the time it will make our beak you. Just my two cents for older gals :]

I agree w/ Julie about the makeup.

Blue eyeshadow can be alluring. But, if your goal is to pass, a more natural white/tan/brown palette will bring out your femininity even more.

I am a HUGE fan of the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette:

Recently I just got the bobbi brown "Shimmer Brick" and while a bit more $$, I love it even more:

It was Halloween. I was on stage with a band. It was not meant to be subtle. :) I was also very rushed putting it on. I'm actually good with makeup.  ;D

I really wasn't trying to pass, but I wanted the costume to look good. Surprisingly I fooled quite a number of people. That made me feel great.

Also, that photo shows a shadow under my eye which looks like makeup. I took that in the bathroom mirror of the club we were playing on right after I put my wig on. :)

This one is better (with my Hello Kitty flu mask). We look like the Village People on acid!

As far as my voice, it's not particularly masculine, but I have a very wide range, so I can talk really deep or high. My natural speaking voice is borderline, kind of like a woman with a deep voice. I think the thing was people who know me then recognized me when they heard me.

I am working on vocal training, and since I have a high singing voice, that's both a blessing and curse, since my break point between head and falsetto is rather high. I can do a fairly convincing female voice, but I think it needs more work. I just started recently. At the Halloween show I was not trying to talk like a woman. I'm trying to get the vocal training to work since I might be able to continue singing, but if I don't like my voice I'll probably get surgery, and in that case have to learn how to sing all over again.  :-\  Oh joy. I think I can avoid that however.

The only person related with the band that knows I'm trans is the keyboard player's girlfriend.

This is her and I. Everyone wanted to pose with me. lol

I'm my worst critic.  :P
