Caleb emailed me a before and after video, in the first video his voice was a really high pitched girly-girl voice and I thought no freaking way is Caleb ever going to pull off this man thing. The second video left me totally amazed at what a transition he had made. His voice was totally manly and his attitude and appearance had changed from female to male like night and day. I have to admit that I had a "holy ->-bleeped-<-" moment and find myself extremely impressed with Caleb's outcome on T thus far. If I met him out on the street and we conversed, there would be no way I'd clock him as anything but male. Just felt compelled to write about it on the FtM forum, because his transition should be a great encouragement to everyone here.

Awesome, go Caleb!  :)  He should post some videos for us.

Lol, I didn't see this thread until I saw your post about it in the Happy thread. Thanks Shantel. I sometimes get dysphoric and think my transition is going poorly, but when you look at the videos...and where I came from...yeah, there's been a lot of changes.

I'll post the videos on the forum sometime, I just have to get them to an account that doesn't use my real first and last name lol.

You've been absolutely right and truthful with him. I suppose the dysphoria always works to our disadvantage when we go to the "Mirror, mirror on the wall" only to see the the troll from Billy Goat Gruff looking back at us. We all need to avoid the mirror and self-criticism as much as possible as it never does an good. Meanwhile always keep in mind that people see us as completely differently than we see ourselves, that goes for those on both ends of the gender spectrum.

You are Jay, and I knew that already. In fact I had planned to make mention of you as one of the most successful transitioners I've seen so far, but demurred lest you get a big head.  :D ;D

On that note, but not related to Caleb specifically (because I haven't seen), I saw a thumbnail to a video in my sub list recently and thought to myself "OMG, who is that gorgeous young man?" Then I started watching and he was as dreamy as he looked in the thumbnail. Turns out he was actually pre-T which kind of blew my mind, but I digress. At one point, he referred to himself as "butt ugly". That was an eyebrow-raiser. I guess it's like you said. We all tend to be extra judgmental when it comes to self-evaluation.

There are ladies on this thread and it's interfering with my ability to function. I thought I didn't even like girls.  :P

I'm afraid I do. :P
I doubt if it's true either, but I'll let it go. Caleb, since I really don't know what you look like, but most of us guys end up passing pretty well after awhile. I think some people just think they don't and it's probably more dysphoria.

@Frank-- are you on T yet? It's *very* distracting to all of a sudden go "he's so hot", "she's so hot", etc. I'd say maybe I'm pansexual but people might start thinking I have an unnatural attraction to kitchen appliances. :)

Yea, I've never seen a trans man who didnt look like a man. At all.  T does a great job with you guys. And us women it just... well... it doesnt do us any good at all. Lol.

I could post a picture of Caleb. I snapped some the other night.... I'm just not sure he would want them on display in public. Not these ones in particular anyway :p

I think I regret coming back to this thread. Pretty ladies AND men.  :D

I'm pre-T but I'm hairier than a lot of cismen, I think I have high T anyway. Since I'm already a bit of a tail ->-bleeped-<-, I'm a little worried the "everything is sexy!" will shoot up %500.  ::)
