I've been using a Reelmagik 4.5" prosthetic and it's great.

I just have 2 problems.
First, the hair on the top of the prosthetic somehow inches underneath the prosthetic and gets covered in adhesive, it's not a huge problem but just kind of annoying.

Second, I am getting close to running out of adhesive/remover/cleaner and I was wondering if there are possible cheaper alternatives or if the $145 + shipping for a 4oz bottle of adhesive and remover (extra strength) is about normal. Also what is in the cleaner spray?

Hey James, I've heard that the factor2 adhesive and Hollister adhesive works great
and they're both cheaper. I just ordered the RM 8" and I'm gonna go with the factor2 adhesive.
They're both silicone based and they don't hurt the tab.

Hi James.
I have a 6 inch prosthetic and have exactly the same problem with the hair, I think unfortunately it's just how it is. I've had the prosthetic a year now and it's meant quite alot of the longer hair has come out, but to be honest it almost looks better for it, and means less glue get's stuck in.
With regards to the adhesive, I use hollisters 7731 (I think it's called.. something like that) the standard hollister spray, which works just as well as the reelmagik extra strong and only costs about £15 a bottle. Just make sure when you spray it on you give it a good 10 minutes to set before you try adhere it to your body, that's the best way to ensure a good hold I find.
And with regards to the cleaning spray I don't know, I just use the adhesive remover where necessary, and wash the prosthetic in the shower the same way I wash my body, and a year later it's still in good condition.

Hope this helps, if you have any more questions fire away.
