I've been one year on T since Aug 9 and let me say changes are going real smooth but one thing I noticed and it bugs the heck out of me, is the fact that I have so much body hair and so little facial hair. I mean my chest is covered! But most I can get for facial hair is sideburns or a neck beard if I wanted. My chin and cheeks are so slow to fill in. And the facial hair is that soft facial hair not to more corse hair adults have. This makes people think im 17 not 22. Im on the cream since im deathly afraid of needles.and giving myself a shot and there is no one here that can do it. I know the cream is causing the slower changes but could it also be cause im overweight? Im starting a diet and exercise regimine today to shed some weight and build muscle. Any input would he appreciated thanks guys!

When I went through my own MAAB puberty experience my face was the slowest to accumulate hair. chest, pits and pubes all came in much faster. It took a good 3-4 years before I had a decent beard. So it might just be a time factor. Though of course second puberty could be different.

Mate, I'm almost at the 2 year mark and I am only just beginning to have the hair creep up on my cheeks.  It's still thin, but getting thicker.  My neckbeard is massively bushy if I don't trim it, but like you it's just slow-going elsewhere.  Give it time - I've heard that it can take about 5 years on T to get a full-ish decent beard and sideburns.

I'm closing in on 3 years and I've got very thin hair all over from the neck down. I also can only grow a neck beard with sideburns. I think I'm the only one of my brothers to develop a lot of body hair before facial hair.

Thanks guys! Atleast im not the only one! I see other guys at the 9 month mark and they have a nice amount of facial hair and look wise seem to pass for 20 year olds. It just sucks that people think im 17 and when I say im 22 they don't believe me at all. One more question...when does the voice typically stop dropping? My wife says I sound like a 15 year old. Does the voice atleast mature so I sound older? Thanks!

It is not uncommon for FtMs to look younger than their actually age.

(I wish I had that problem!)

Have you thought about sub-cutaneous injections.  They are very easy.

If you go by anecdotal evidence, it should drop initially around 3 to 5 months and then occasionally take another plummet now and again afterwards up to several years.  I hear some guys reporting that they are still having occasional drops even 3+ years on T.

I am extremely afraid of needles and really wouldn't be able to give myself shots

Okay this is good cause my voice is done with the initial cracking stage and the major drop it just minorly cracks now and again so I Assume it would be gradually dropping now. Probably not so drastically for me to notice
