So yeah, transitioning at my job is a no-go, but of course I need steady income to afford my early transition.
I was highly pessimistic about HRT in general. Just figured they'd have minimal impact on me and would also take an extremely long time before anything happened. I had the frame of mind "maybe in almost a year I might need to bind to hide any breast growth, but nothing else besides that would occur that anyone would ever notice"
Well yeah, I've been on HRT for about 4.5 weeks and already had 1 co-worker point out to me that I looked "kinda different". He couldn't pin point what, but shrugged saying "don't know, maybe not, you just look different somehow". I know he was noticing the texture change in the skin on my face. Nothing about my face shape has changed at all, but yeah, the texture is quickly changing. Pores shrinking, overall getting that smoother soft "glowy" look.
Of course now I'm forced to re-think my "can I drag this along for an extremely long time before anyone starts to catch on that at least something is going on ?"
I'm still a skeptic at heart over how much change I'll get, but at the same time how quickly my skin changed has me questioning my approach to my original plan. That was basically keep this job and push as far into my transition as possible before attempting to land a job as a woman. I'd kinda figured I could keep this up indefinitely until I could achieve that.
Anyone have experience with doing the, still working as a guy around your transition ?
Thanks
