I've heard the recovery times are about the same. Despite the lack of large incisions, you're still having a lot of liposuction done which will cause bruising. You still won't want to raise your arms too far up, as that whole region is going to be very sore. Best to get your surgeon to run you through their recovery expectations before surgery.
I'm not sure on the second question. I think it will really depend on how you come out of anesthesia. Have you had a surgery before where you were under general anesthesia? For some folks, it takes them a while to stop feeling hazy and be "all there". It makes me terribly nauseous for about 6 or so hours after the fact (longer if I was put under longer). But there is medicine for that, and your surgeon's office will likely have some.
I really don't know. My surgery was at 12pm and I woke up and left the surgeon's office (she has her own OR in the building) a little before 4pm. I had to take some anti-nausea medicine before we left. We drove to a hotel and I napped until dinner time. It was pretty exhausting. I would say if you're going to try to do it, try to do it on the way home instead of going home and then trying to come back out. You'll probably be too tired by that point.
