"We are not in favour of discrimination, BUT..."? He may as well have said "We aren't in favour of discrimination, but of course gays and lesbians don't count because it says so in the Bible, so we'll discriminate all we want against
them".
The idea that I live in a country where our elected leader feels like it is OK to say something like this disgusts me. I'd say bring on the election, but our current opposition are almost as unlikely to do anything about this issue as our current excuse for a government, unless they start sliding in the polls and decide they need to do something drastic to pick up the numbers.
