How will having my birth cert and drivers liscence going over to F as my gender marker effect my script for hrt?

It shouldn't, as long as your doctor is advised of your trans status.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Not in any way. My pharmacist knows me well pre and post. He changed my name and details on his records as soon as I legally changed them. The staff are great, they all know, talk and chat and as usual everyone is super friendly.

BTW many cis females are on HRT. Menopause!

Lol, 30 would be one early menopause for me, ha! No, i was just wondering how it would effect my insuance. I got my medical affidavit in my purse, waiting for tomorrow for paycheck to mail it on off to the dept human services for my birth cert, it cost $40 to chamge it in mich, and 12 per additional copy. Heh. And i gotta have that for sooo many reasons, like drivers liscence, etc, in our state. And since our state doesnt have trans rights unless u are a govt employee, it is my protection from discrimination in any work place, mainly this one, who once they found out i was on hrt, ive been getting wrote up for nearly anything, that they normally would just say you need to do. Heh.

If the company you work for is a  Equal Employment Opportunity employer, the EEOC has ruled transgender is and has been covered under the section of sex. So if you feel you are being discriminated you could contact them and see if they can help. There website is at  http://www.eeoc.gov/

It might make it *easier*; it did for me. My insurance company eventually assumed I was in fact a menopausal cis woman (I have a friend who had a hysterectomy at my age, it's not unheard of) and stopped demanding letters explaining why a "male" was taking such high doses* of estrogen. :)

*this is not a dosage discussion - I got the impression anything over "zero" made them ask that for someone listed as male.

They have outdated EEOC posters put up? But nothing anywhere in company policy saying they are? Lol? And no one has said anything bad about it, if it is discrimination its very very subtle. Still annoying having upper management refer to me as "he".
