So one of the things that really helped me when I was about to start transition was seeing the effects over time of hormones on other girls. It gave my confidence and courage to move forward. I decided when I started hormones I was going to keep track of them by taking a mug shot every month or so to see my progress and to show others the effects they have had on my body. These changes are so slow and so subtle that your coworkers, friends and family members will most not likely even notice what is going on. I might also add that hormones are not magic though perhaps in the back of our minds they are such. The key is to be realistic, everyone's results are different. I was lucky to start young before testosterone could wreck my body with manliness and am also most likely not very testosterone receptive since I've never really looked that masculine anyways. This also does not show my other body and mood changes which have also changed quite a bit. I gained a bit of weight as well. Estrogen lowers your metabolism and the fluctuating hormones will turn to into an eating machine. You will need to make lifestyle changes to maintain a healthy weight or suffer as I did. Now i'm working on burning it off and it's not easy. Minus the last photo i'm not wearing any makeup. I wanted to show how I actually look as opposed to some girls that start showing pics with makeup towards the end to make the change appear more drastic and shocking.

So without further ado...

Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

You look great & so happy. What a nice smile. I just love how your face is so much softer & feminine.

Thanks for posting all pics.

Take care GF.

You look absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing pics, I haven't yet but I should (slight paranoia here).

It really helps to see peoples' success stories :)

Something else I notice... From month 0 to 12, there's a kinda automatic smile that increased. Really reflects what was happening for you :).

To be honest, that's the best part :)

Yup, I noticed that, too. Somber look slowly giving way to a Mona Lisa-type smile. Really see a difference about Month 5...but the eyes...it seems to me that your eyes started smiling about the second month.

Looking very good, congratulations!
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

THAT is what can be achieved in just ONE YEAR?!?

It's amazing. I wouldn't say you look bad before, but you look absolutely female at the last picture.

Funny thing: I don't see much change between the first and the last picture, but would guessed you male in the first and female with no second thought in the last picture. Amazing!

The only thing I really recognized is you smiling in the last picture. It looks like you've found something good for you and I guess it's the girly look... :)

Amazing progress maid you've changed a lot in the last year. And I think it's safe to say many more changes will happen in the next year. I just want to thank you you have been a inspiration to me in the last year. :)

Amazing progress! A noticeable change. I intend on doing a similar thing, but being the nerd I am I intend to take measurements to see the changes that aren't always noticeable to the naked eye!

I don't get where those "more changes" should occur. I don't see any spots where she can get any more girly.

You rock, Maid!

You would be amazed how much people can change in the second year. I know several trans women around the second year and if you look at their year one photos and compare it to how they look now it's incredible. ;)
