I've had that one, along with many others. None ended pretty.
As with pretty much everything, you're not alone

Thank you for the support, it was just so vivid... I could feel the pain and see the blood...

I had the one where I put myself on a cutting board and chopped it off with a cutting knife. Strangely, it wasn't the shock of the pain which woke me up (it was tremendous, by the way) but rather the sight of just blood everywhere that did.
Sorry if I'm getting a bit too graphic for your tastes.
On the flip side, I've had some excellent dreams, like suddenly waking up with breasts and a vagina, looking at myself in a mirror looking absolutely stunning, getting a lot of stares on the walk to school, those things. That one was very nice. I'm sure you've has some positive ones as well, it can't be all negative.

I'm avoiding saying mine too graphically so it doesn't do any harm.

I do, but the graphic harm ones are a lot more common.

Even what I said is almost borderline for my tastes. I'd love to help people in a medical field, but I can't do blood.
And probably more impacting as well, I presume?

I can take blood and stuff, I'm just leaving it out for others.

Yes, the self harm ones are more impacting.

And they tend to be. The bad tends to linger in your mind. You've probably had more around 50-50, or at least 60-40 bad to good dreams about gender, but have forgotten most of the good ones. I's actually a scientific fact that we tend to forget out best dreams.
Stay strong, girl. Before you know it, these dreams will become irrelevant :)

I've had many dreams of cutting off my own equipment.

The problem is, the damned thing always grows back in the dreams, and then I have to cut it off all over again. And even when I try to cut it down to the absolute root, figuring that maybe it will stay gone, it always comes back. Damned thing. :p

It's nothing to worry about. If you think about wishing that it was gone, you're bound to have dreams involving cutting it off. That doesn't mean you're a psychopath or anything. Just expressing subconscious desires about offending anatomy that doesn't belong there.

It wasent so much cutting it off as it was self tourture of my bit, very gruesome slow removal of it.

I don't recall any dreams of self-mutilation but I did have one very recently where everything had retracted so fully inside me it looked like I had a vulva! That was pretty cool and at least didn't involve any blood or pain.

Had this one too.
I'm pretty sure they're just all the same, and we just loan them from the dream bank. :P

I've had a few dreams sort of like that as well. I would consider it normal to have dreams like that as it is a physical part of our bodies that we don't like being there. The mind works in real weird ways sometimes. The craziest one I had almost 8 years ago was when I worked in a meat processing plant as a maintenance worker. I don't understand how it could happen but somehow "it and the twins" got cut off as I was fixing a machine while the plant was running. I didn't feel pain, but relief as it happened in the dream. I woke up after I was taken to a hospital and the doctors told me there was nothing they could do to put it back on and I was all like meh, that's cool.

There's absolutely no way anything like that could have ever happened when I worked there. As a reassurance to everyone who eats meat, if anything were to happen like that where a body part is dismembered or a bad accident occurs with blood involved then the whole plant gets shut down and everything on the immediate line is thrown away while the whole area that the accident happened in is decontaminated.

Serious hat time!
If anyone ever feels like they should self mutilate their genitals DONT! DONT DONT DONT DONT DONT, come here and talk to us and call a help line too. The members here do care and will try to help the best they can. If you do harm yourself then that will raise a red flag to any health care professional and put you in a 100% stop all progress situation. It's really a serious thing to do something like that and not only are you causing yourself real harm in the process you are also putting your own ability to transition at a stand still and possible never be able to have surgery in the future because of the damage that was caused.

I'm kinda scared now since I've had two in a row, for me thats a first, plus this one had me killing myself.

Basicly i cut it to peaces, chopped off the peaces, slit my wrists and laid my head down on them then drifted off to the abyss.

I'm not sure what to say about this rather than giving you hugs.
This is probably best left to a trained psychologist. If you feel they're too intense, call yours now, or if you don't have one, call your GP to set up a meeting with one. It may be kind of hard to do eithert of those because for most of the world it's late at night and/or still Sunday. Promise me, though, if you're feeling downright terrible, that you'll go get some professional help.
