I've been on a low dose HRT regimen for about 4 years to control GD. I recently figured out i'm a transsexual, so my therapist wrote a letter to my endo to switch to a transition level dose of HRT. The dose is double what my previous dose was, and in a month if everything is OK it doubles again. I started the new dose on Tuesday.
The endo also switched me from dutasteride to spiro at the same time. The dose of spiro I'm on I don't believe is a particularly strong one.
Ever since Wednesday I've felt tired and I've been catching a lot of naps. Sometimes in the middle of the day I get incredibly sleepy.
I remember similar feelings way back when I first began taking estrogen, but they eventually went away.
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so how long does it go on?
I have noticed immediate effects from the new dose. I feel calmer now and my skin seems suddenly softer too so it's definitely working.
Thanks!
