Yesturday...

Well yesturday my girlfirend and I were getting ready to meet new friends and I need to get some money out and get some things from the store. So I got some money out of the bank and went to the convience store and asked for two scratchcards and the sales assistant said can I have your ID please, I said your joking right? (As over here you have to be 16 to buy Scratchcards or lottery, and I am nearly 20) he said "no" so I handed over my drivers licence and he looked at it funny then looked and me and said "are you Laura Elizabeth Johnston" and I said "yes" he then looked at me suspisously and handed over the scratchcards. At first it didn't really click why he asked if I was who I am then it did..... my first recognising as a dude! I was so happy!

Just wanted to share my joy with all of you!

Feels great, doesn't it?  Congratulations!  I'm finding that the more confidence I have in my appearance, in being myself, the more other people recognize it; i.e., somehow project it and it becomes visible to others.  It's a weird but nearly magical thing.

Congrats Jaston, that's awesome! The first time someone recognized me as a guy was only a few weeks ago, I mean it was dark and the guy was drunk, haha, but still, I had amazing dreams for the rest of the week.
