A former male contestant on project runway returned to the show as a female on an all star version of the show.  For those of you unfamiliar with the show, clothing designers compete against each other.  Every week someone is eliminated.  Unfortunately she has already been eliminated.  It's too bad I was hoping she would go a long way but it turns out being the right gender didn't help to make her a better designer.

One plus was that I got to correct my wife a lot about the proper use of pronouns when talking about her without bringing myself into the equation.  I could have used a few more weeks of that!

That would have helped my communication with my wife so much if she had stayed. Just the one show helped me explain things to her. I could have so much more.  I also thought that her being in the bottom three or four was justified as her design was a little too classy for punk.  But a good design of good quality that missed the mark should have been better than hitting the mark with just a bad design.

She did look good and going out on the first show was hard on her.  Not good.  I liked what she did.
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.
