I've been tucking since about a month before I started hormones (so about a year consistently now) and I used a homemade gaff at first. It was super uncomfortable but after a week it became much less so.
I used to have to place those cysts very carefully or the attached cords would seem to become enflamed and that was very uncomfortable. After about a month on hormones, everything had shrunken and loosened up a bit which helped considerably.
At about 3 months into hormones (and tucking with a gaff for 4 months solid) I switched to the double panty method which has been comfortable and easy ever since.
Actually now I don't even need to do anything. If I pull up the panties with my back at the right angle and my legs bent a little in front of me, everything kind of situates and goes right where it should. Pretty neat how the body just seems to adapt

It will be painful at first and you will probably have some difficulty crossing your legs all the way, but it becomes much much easier the more you do it.
