Hello everybody :)

I am a British citizen and although it's likely to be a gentle amble rather than a straight dash, I'm about to start the whole transition process ;)

I'm a British citizen but I live permanently in Asia.

I've been looking at the government information for changing gender, and it seems to say that I have to get my gender change recognised first in my country of residence, and then pass proof of that on to a gender change panel in the UK.

I wonder if anyone else on here been through or is going through this process? ???

Thank you for any information that you can give me:)

Here's all the information on documentation changes from our Wiki: https://www.susans.org/wiki/Category:Documentation_changes

It doesn't look like there's a lot to help you, but it's a starting point.  Hugs, Devlyn
