Let's see, after graduating college, and moving to California, and assuming I'm single throughout this. If I save $500 a week I'll have like $25,000 within a year; that's enough for SRS and possibly some new boobs (or maybe other things instead). If I save $500 a week for 4-5 years, that's about $100,000-125,000 and that's enough to have a baby. If I somehow manage to save $500 a week for 4 years after having a baby because I'm married or whatever, that's enough for a downpayment on a reasonable house in California.... Ugh I don't even know if this is realistic, can you live without half your paycheck in Cali? >.>

Perhaps you can get SRS covered by insurance by that time.

I went over to my aunt's house with my mom tonight and I had brought my (now) usual stuff along. Wallet, Phone, Charger, MP3 Player, etc. I had it all stuffed in my coat pockets and when my mom was dropping me off, I was just checking to see what was in what and all that. I mentioned that "I should get a purse" and she seemed to act..I don't know...kind of weird. She kind of hesitated and then says something like "Oh, you will figure something out." LOL I don't know...I mean, I DO look kind of andro, I guess, but I've been around enough people that had no idea and thought I was just your average, run of the mill chick. Sure, there HAVE been a few times when some people weren't quite sure what I was. But those days are few and far between at this point and they were always teenagers. Even then, I'm about 60/40 when it comes to passing with teens. I just found the whole thing kind of funny. I mean..what would be the big deal if I decided to carry a purse by this point? I've been on HRT for 6 years, lived full time for 4 years. I'm only doing it because it's becoming a necessity at this point since I am accumulating all this crap. Plus, I am NOT the girly girl type so I would get something that was pretty plain, anyway.  I don't know...her reaction just made me laugh and shake my head a bit is all.

Get a purse miss bungle! Just get a unisex one, like a messenger bag, and you'll still be walking that andro line. I bet once you have a handbag you'll never go back! (just know there is a little adaptation getting used to remembering it and not leaving it places!)

....does anyone ever see other people on this site and just get so depressed? Sometimes I see guys and girls pass so well, sound so good, look so pretty and FLAWLESS...it makes my stomach sink and heart kind of sad. I need to stop comparing myself to others, I know, and I even pass super well, but it's like a freaking condition I cant stop doing it!! It's as if I'm damaged form all my years of comparing myself to others and wishing I could live as female...now I'm just plain neurotic.

I know how you feel.  I tend to get sad too because of a lot of guys (and some girls) on here.  I'm happy for them, but I'm just sad for myself because I'm not in a position to transition at the moment.  It can be gut-wrenching to see other people lap circles around you when it comes to transitioning. -hugs-

Maybe not that expensive, but then again, I want something that will last and isn't some piece of crap. I don't know..I will see how the budget plays out. If I get some Christmas cash it could go towards this. But I don't want some crappy Chinese made piece of garbage like I see in most of the shops around here. Plus, a lot of them are ugly as hell.

Second-hand shops!  You can get designer-label handbags and all sorts of other gear for CHEAP!    Also since lots of people trade-in items they're usually in great shape because people don't use them for long (& it's in their interest to take care of them). I am not into expensive handbags really, but there is something to be said about having a nice, well laid-out, cute handbag!

Thinking about my hair, and how the growth over the past 7 months has been just normal. 4 inches of hair is not enough; I want at least 12. That would take 16 months to do at normal growth rates. I'm searching desperately for remedies. So far: eat/drink more soy, shampoo and condition less often, drink more coffee (one or two cups with caffeine is OK, but make sure most of it is decaf,) and take biotin supplements.
Anything I'm missing?

This may sound counter productive but it works. Trim about a half inch every 4  to 5 months. It reduces split ends and breakage along with never styling or brushing when wet or using electronic gizmos with hair.

I cut about a foot off a year ago and I regret it. It doesn't grow as fast on T or else slows down with age. My balding probably isn't helping either.

Regular scalp massages can stimulate bloodflow and growth I've heard.

Wow, a person can somewhat see my personality when I play GTA V: Online.  Someone randomly gave me $341000000 and I still haven't spent it.  Instead, I have just been robbing convience stores and stealing cars to sell them in order to make more money and I've been extra careful nto to die so I wouldn't lose any money in hospital bills.  I could buy a tank, a buzzard chopper, a new motorcycle, a brand new fast car, a dump truck, a blue bike, but I haven't.  Why?  Well if I spend money, I will have less of it, so I have to make sure I build my funds back up.  This is how my mind operates in real life.  I'm about to take my GTA V: Online character on the hunt to find a blue bike to steal instead of just paying 10 grand for one.  If I can't find a blue bike, then I'm not sure if I'm going to just buy one bcause that's a lot of money and I already have a bike in the exact same brand, except it's yellow (that I "borrowed")  I could just use that one.  Yes, I'm that cheap.  My mom said that I probably wouldn't use that money even if I had it lol. I probably would.  I know I'd still be out in the Black Friday crowd and waiting for price drops.

Wondering about my friends and if they can see and accept me for who I am or if they see someone I'm not and would reject me if they really knew me. I think it's kind of funny, reading Malachite constantly post about GTA V when I still play GTA III.  (Along with all of the other old versions of GTA..except for SA & VCS...BOOOO!!) I just dig the atmosphere of 3's version of Liberty City. Plus, Once you have all the gangs gunning for you, it makes those sniping sessions more fun. (Of course, I still waste more than my fair share of pedestrians.) But the best part is being able to use the character cheat and not have it screw up the save files. It really annoyed me when they started putting that into the other versions later on.
