You might like this one then. Its a romantic comedy slice of life type. But its different from other slice o life in that its deeper than most.

I preffer slice of life comedy animes overall...
and I mean the random  hillarious ones...like this ,,, check this out...I died laughing when I saw it...

Idk what it is elsewhere but light in america is like when you make a joke that doesnt offend anyone or play to sex or stereotypes. Thats light.

I had mentioned the fact that I was writing some stories to my mom. She says "Maybe I could read them sometime."  I just started laughing because I seriously doubt that she would get it. No matter if it were the fanfics or one of the original stories that I am writing since they both are centered the whole anthropomorphic animals thing.  Especially the whole angle in the fanfics involving the romantic relationship between Portia Porcupine & Laura Squirrel. 

Once I showed a story I ve written to my mom...she said only a psychopath would write this , that its disgusting and wrong and that I need help

Indeed I am a geek. I consider that to be a badge of honor. Of course, in the stories, Laura gets ripped by Kathy (her adopted sister) quite a bit. Kathy is always referring to Laura as a "geek", a "dork" and is always making cracks about Laura's relationship with Portia. But Kathy also rips on the rest of her friends. That's just part of who she is.

I have some parts that would make my mom respond in the same way (mostly the scenes of lesbian action between Laura and Portia BUT those are a VERY small part of the stories and don't really pop up that often. But they are there from time to time.) Most of the stuff revolving around them is just your basic lovey-dovey, mushy stuff which is why Kathy rips on them so much. But there a lot of other times where it's just your basic interactions in school, hanging out and the occasional indulging in illegal substances.

Watch Baccano! and Durarara!! Seriously, they are fantastic anime that, for some reason, not enough people have watched.

Nah , thats nothing compared to mine...there is a scene in which one of the characters has to rape his sister in front of the princess so that the princess will pity her and raise her ,,,cause he cant...then the princess and the girl fall in love with each other...its a long story...
still though , a lesbian scene would freak out every parent ,,,lol

btw I dont think I ve mentioned it but I enjoy furry anthropomorphic art too
there is also an anthro cat girl in my story XD

Not mine. My dad once told me he wished I was a lesbian and my parents are perfectly ok with my sister being bi. They weren't ok with me being bi because they would have preferred it if I liked only women. (Not because I'm trans. I came out as bi first and they told me that before they knew I was bi.)

The heaviest thing I've had so far was back in fic #5 where I had Kathy's biological mother die in a car wreck that she causes while driving drunk (I wrote her as a hopeless alcoholic..something plucked from my own childhood, unfortunately) and she also kills Montgomery and his mother. To increase the drama, Dotty witnesses the whole thing and is totally screwed up from the experience. It ended up being a three part story and the first of many stories that become multi-parters.

Yeah, I enjoy writing the dramatic stories. But I also have some that are more lighthearted. Like, the kids performing in the school talent show or a few them playing in a 'battle of the bands'. I wrote one sort of "mini story" that went along with the talent show one, where all they do is play a game of Monopoly at this girls house and then at the end of the night (which is actually dawn by this time) a few of the girls go out back for a smoke.

do you mix those two? like for example after the talent show performance something tragic would happen...thats how I usually do it
