For those who knew Alison as a founder member of SHAFT in the UK in the 1980's or as the partner of a member of this site I have the sad news of her death last Friday UK time.
I shall remember her as an extremely intelligent and charming woman who shared her passion for cooking and her love of life together with great compassion for her friends and colleagues.
