Another thing worth pointing out, if they ask you questions, you're not an exception to inappropriate questions. Our private parts are private, and not something that's appropriate to talk or ask about. For whatever reason I find it exceedingly common for people to not think these questions through and thus don't think they're inappropriate. Asking outright about surgeries or private parts is a no-no. Don't feel awkward or reluctant to point out if something inappropriate if asked and that it's not something you want to talk about. There's ways to keep it light if you're worried about it being too stand-offish. If they ask about bottom surgery for example, you can come back with, "How's your vagina?" They'll likely be more embarrassed than you were at their question and you can just chuckle and say, "Yeah, maybe it's best if we don't talk about private parts, eh?" Lol.
