If I(monstrous and old) can post a pic, you can too. Just say screw it and do it...

 Thanks JRD! I'm really pretty awesome at saying "screw it."

To be clear, I'm not worried about what people will say!! ♥ ♥

Before the festivities begin, I want to thank the Staff for removing the thread that this one replaces. I was openly critical of some of the content being left up, and I am not sad to see it gone. Again, thanks for keeping this a place where we can all be welcome.

Hugs, Devlyn

Ok lets test the water,

Pre everything other than a lifetime of torment and facing a decision point of risk it all or battle on as is.

I really love your hair!!! :) And I need a necklace like that -- scoop neck shirts look good with something up there!

I'd have thought you at least had a start on HRT. I like the first outfit - it looks good with the sweater, but I really like that black & white shirt in the 2nd.

Gwynn, you have nice round facial features and androgynous structure so I think with HRT you'll pass just fine. :)

Debbie I think your body is lovely in the female range, and you have a great feminine style. I also think with hormones you will blend well, but that an obstacle to passing might be the length of your face. I don't read your face as super masculine at all, but the length including height f forehead is in the male range Id say. Not a big deal in terms of passing out in the world, if you ask me, as I think you can solve this by wearing a long bang that stops just at your brow level. This will reshape your face and balance your whole look. My opinion, of course. Things like bangs are stereotypical trans lady techniques to pass but they work. Just don't get super blunt bangs, make sure they're cut with a soft edge - you don't want any harsh lines. Also the hair you've got in this photo is very pretty and I think that the edges of bangs for trans ladies should be longer quite like your wig in this photo. So yeah...bangs that get longer on th edges and soft fade into the rest of the hair

Before HRT we just can't see ourselves yet sometimes and the way it changes even our skin itself is super feminizing.

Thanks, That's really encouraging that I'm doing something right.    BTW the black and white top if from Ross if your in the area of one, not sure if they still have that pattern but they often carry the style, I have a closet full of them lol.

Thanks Di   Glad to hear you don't think I have a super masculine face, it always seem like it is to me.  Its my cheeks that always bother me the most, there just seems too much there for my liking and any tight photo crop of just my face always looks male to me.  Hoping that more weight loss will help, when I uploaded those photos I saw some old ones in my flikr account a thought maybe I should post them in the before and after thread as well lol

IDK then, there just seems to be something un feminine to the lower half of my face and it just seems too "full"  Maybe (hopefully) its just a combination of beard shadow and male fat patterns that can be dealt with or changed around with the right chemistry.  Maybe I should at least pluck up the courage to book that first laser session.

Oh you mean lower cheek area I thought you meant cheekbone area

Hello friends! My name is Aeron, or ari, or erin.. I dunno right now. o_o
Okay!
i've been on hormones for roughly 2 years now.
I just started electrolysis.. I'm not wearing foundation here, I normally just wear mascara and lipgloss and sometimes color my eyebrows in slightly. I dress rather punkish but only wearing skirts and dresses.. I'm deathly afraid of pants. I'm also growing my hair out currently.. But I struggle with cutting it when i get emotional. Somewhat considering FFS on my jaw but not sure.. My voice has not been worked on.. Also! I'm going to be a body piercer! I love piercings and jewelry so thats why they're in my face. I try to have feminine, small jewelry. What are your thoughts and suggestions?

RB.

I guess I'll re-post the pics I had on the old thread as I didn't get much feedback. I just started HRT and have been on spiro for about 2 weeks now. I was just curious about my potential to pass one day, any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Also to Gwynne and Debbie, from what I can see from your pictures it looks like you both have great starting points pre-HRT, I would imagine you should both have no trouble passing!

P.S. I didn't get a chance to thank Robin Mack for her response before the old thread was locked, it was a big confidence booster and I really appreciated it!

Ari, beautiful girl! I know I gave you feed back once I hope it was helpful? Ill not give it again unless you would like me to :)

Rbard, you have a very pretty face and your major masculine feature is your high and broad forehead. Try getting some long soft edges bangs and pill the rest back in a pony tail and I bet you'll pass great. Plus you're not even changed from HRT yet... So yay!

Tarah, it's lovely to put a face to the bunny :D

You have softer features, nice cheekbones and a buttonish nose. Clear that beard shadow (which I know you're on), have your brows done, and consider a hairstyle with bangs and I think you'll be on track!

All the best!  ;D

Hi Aeron,

I definitely see a girl in those pictures. While I do see what you mean about your jaw, I don't think it's as prominent or glaring as you think. One thing that does jump out at me is your hairline, which is clearly receding towards the corners. You might consider a hairstyle with slight bangs to cover this.
