Thing is, people have been saying for a while that a lot of the studies depicting the risks of progesterone were using a synthetic form that's known to present a lot more risks than micronized progesterone.

Also, uh, a hormone cream over the counter? That sounds so weird to me. o.o

Apparently it's phyto-progesterone from soy. Not quite the same thing. I don't know the first thing about it, so not gonna say it's dangerous without knowing, though.

The P creams are usually Progesterone derived from soy.  Usually applied on the insides of the upper legs or the undersides of the upper arms.  Never directly on the breasts.  P may cause mood swings off cycle as the same as a woman off of her cycle.  PMS, baby!  Also the transwoman do not have the ovaries, cervix, and uterus that gives off the other little hormones that cis women have that may be a factor in breast cancers.  A different analog here.  My Dr. took me off of P a year ago due to the alleged ineffectiveness and the edema associated with the foot problem.  No changes since.

Finally saw an endo who prescribed me micronized progesterone. What do people usually experience in the first few days of taking it?

Edited for dosage

I didn't notice anything right away, but now after two months my areolas and nipples have darkened some.  And the nipples are a bit larger with a little different texture.  Wish I'd taken some pictures so I could make real comparisons from start to now.  I have noticed that a couple bras are tighter, but that could just be fat redistribution since my weight is about the same.  I see my doctor tomorrow about a whole list of things and breasts will be discussed.

Four weeks ago I had to stop taking progesterone for ten days to see if it was the cause of another health problem that popped up.  But otherwise I've been taking my prescribed dose.  A moderator will come along soon to remove the actual dose you posted because we aren't supposed to discuss that.

My son is a doctor and he always gives me the same advice; "ask your doctor." ;)
