This guy on the train yesterday was determined to spread his legs as wide as possible and hog two seats. Even when I squeezed myself in between him and a more accommodating chap he wasn't giving an inch. Not for the entire trip!

The only way I'd forgive him is if he'd just had five hours of electrolysis on his balls, but given he was sporting a huge cheesy moustache I doubt he's heading down that path!

I know that guys spreading their legs on public transport is a thing that really annoys women... it seems like a hyper macho and really selfish thing to do. I've always tended to cross my legs and of course women are generally taught to keep their legs together (for a whole host of reasons, practical or prudish) but even in guy mode I've never seen the need for sitting with legs akimbo. Maybe it has something to do with staking out territory... or providing relief for a massive schlong and/or balls... something I personally have no experience with!! :P

That happened to me the other day on the subway. There was a ton of empty seats yet he just had to sit next to me and spread his legs. I got trapped between his legs and a pole.  ::)

It's an aggressive posture.

Generally sexually aggressive, but in a public, close quarters setting I could see it as being confrontational.

Someone feels the need to prove his manhood! *wiggles her pinky* ;)

At least he wasn't wearing short shorts, those can get a bit too... revealing.  :P

Don't get me going, this is so true about it being aggressive posture Jillian! (Auntie Shan the bitch from hell flicks open her razor sharp Buck knife and stares at this offensive dude's crotch muhahaha)  >:-)

Oh LMAO! sometimes you really help me stretch that image of sweet old Auntie Shan---ya right, with sharp humor and other implements? ;D

The first month I was "out" one of my girlfriends kindly encouraged me to "keep those legs crossed girl."  I had never worn skirts or dresses before this year and still have a lot to learn.

As does a few others! I was sitting across from a gorgeous tall long legged beauty, although her skirt was entirely too short for anyone with those long stems to sit down in a lady-like fashion, when suddenly I noticed her panties showing and a large unseemly "package" :icon_yikes: What further ruined the picture was when the woman with such a beautiful face spoke it was like James Earl Jones had just entered the room.   ???

If I have to sit next to someone like this (for example, the only free seat is next to him and I really really wanna sit down), I usually try to push his leg back, while getting in the seat - aiming with my knee into that juicy spot just above his kneecap.
P.S. Btw, those postures seemed to annoy me as long as I remember myself - i.e. quite long before transition :).
