I was wondering  if you guys had any specific Questions for Dr. Lazaro Cardenas and/or Tyler? i plan to Vlog at Tylers Recovery Villa as well as Dr C's new clinic with him and any staff willing to do so. i just noticed alot of people had questions in the past and this would be a great time to do it with me going down for Liposulpture and all

I don't know myself, but I have a friend who is more than pleased with Dr. Cardenas' work, enough to go back to get more done in about a month, and she can't complain about the excellent pricing.
Best of luck to you!

Give it until summer. I was denied HRT yesterday, pending a leter (a diagnosis wasn't enough) and then I plan on visiting with Dr. C, or at least consulting him over phone/Skype. My biggest worry is that I maybe can't understand the dialect of Spanish there! I speak a very traditional Castellano, perhaps to delicate and relatively slangless for the general Mexican dialect. :P
I'll put together some questions later, thanks a lot Tris.

Oh wow! Those prices are so cute. In gonna research the crap out of his results lol. Seems awesome. I want a tiny boob job from him...hmm...maybe next year. Should probably wait til year 3 of HRT? Plus I understand they could grow another size after SRS and I don't know WHEN I'll be able to afford that.

I'd like to know if he think's it matters whether or not you loose weight if your overweight before attempting FFS and will doing it before weight loss effect the results. Because everyone looks different at different weights. What are the success rates of his liposculture/fat grafting and how many patients had to come back for more due to fat absorption. Also I have a friend who wants to know if he does surgery on girls who are hiv positive and if so does he require extra money on the deposit.

Oh,  I just thought of something important.
Hopefully I'll have my name change by then, that's not a problem, but my passport is, as in the picture on it. Will I need to go to the US consulate in Guadalajara (if one exists) to get it amended?

I know that the bone work on the face will be the the same no matter what the weight unless your just monster size big like jabba the hutt. and yes we do all look different at different weights. i myself love the way my face looks when im down to 125 at 5'10. as far as the  liposculture goes i know when transferring it to the hips up to 40% goes away so that why doctors insert extra in anticipation of that. this man has a good eye and seems to know how tread that line with FFS and the body stuff as well. but when i go down to interview him i will have him explain it on camera and upload it. and as far as the HIV question im not really sure? i know he more than has the experience to handle cases like that but i will also ask him that. looks like you wont have to wait long for an answer. plus im going to document my lipo procedure pre up to 6 months post op.

As far as the liposculpture goes there's a doctor in my city that uses his own technique called "Microinjection". It allows the fat cells to get enough blood supply so they can survive once it's re-inserted. He says it's the best way to get perminate resaults which make sense once it's explained. He also listed questions that should be ask when shopping around. Here's a link I think it's pretty informative and raises some good points. Such as the length of time for the procedure, success rates, and the number of girls who had to come back for touch ups.  Because there's no point if the success rates are low. Who wants to look down in 6 mos to a yr and everything has all but disappeared lol

There's a medical team I have in mind as well for this in Bolivia who's overall prices rival Doctor C's and the one in my home town. They don't do FFS but they do everything from noses, breasts, to lipsculpture. I wanna see as many results and get as many questions answered before choosing.

Also could you see if you could get some before and afters of various AA nose jobs?? This one scares me most of all. Not all doctors specifically do "ethnic rhinoplasty" or take into account that a nose job on someone who's non black is VERY different than on someone who is.

Sorry if I offended, but I meant I'm waiting until summer. 6-8 months HRT is norm before beginning FFS, right?

I would like to know how aggressive he will be with the
Forehead contouring.  And how much of the back of the jaw he
Can take away?  Also what can I expect from my nose work?

Oh and they aren't booking past November 30 becadue they are
Re writing thier price book. Costs are expected to go up 10-15 percent

With the prices increasing, I'm now looking elsewhere. I still had trouble justyfying spending 13K for him, with yhis increase now it'd be in the 15K range. I wonder what Dr. DiMaggio's prices are like down in Argentina. I hear his forhead work is excellent, one of my two concernd, alomg with the jaw.
Whatever the cost, being me isn't going to be cheap. And staying in the US for FFS is a total no-go;  I've seen doctors charge 8-10k just for rhinoplasty. I don't care how good you are, no way I can ever afford that.

Di maggio is good at foreheads
That's it.  I read quite a few girls post op ffs that
Love the forehead he created but the nose leaves a lot
To crave.

If you don't need type 3 than going to DiMaggio is a waste of
Resources. ..

If I were you I would get quotes from bvdv ..facial team.  Zukowski ..
And a few others.

But don't fall into the DiMaggio trap please.

Thanks,  Christine.  I don't think I'll end up with the type 3. I know I need some forehead work, but mostly on the brows.
To be honest, I'm quite lost on the whole FFS ordeal,  who to get quotes for, etc. I guess that's OK, I'm a ways out from having it done. I just like to be informed on advanced.
I know I'll likely end up in Latin America, seeing how US surgeons are not affordable, and I speak fluent Spanish, so that's easier than Thailand or elsewhere. Although a trip to thailand would be wonderful, I don't think it feaseable.

I'm sure Cardenas speaks fluent Engligh

Oh and Tristan please answer me this?
Does Cardenas have his own high tech hospital
Up and running yet?
  •

RavenMoon

I'm considering Dr. Cardenas when the time comes. That's a shame about his prices going up, but he's still half the price of the US doctors.
  •

Tristan

Idk if it's officially open yet since I haven't talked to Tyler in a week but I know it's supposed to be the end of this month or the very beginning of December. I can ask him today

I've not done this yet myself, but someone else I knew went to the Southern Comfort trans conference and said that many surgeons attend, making it possible to meet with many of them face-to-face over one week's time.

Anybody had facelift with him? I'm concerned about the resulting scar.

That's a great idea. I have not been to one, but have been told about the conferences.

I would think any cosmetic surgeon can perform a facelift. It's probably one of the most commonly done procedures. And certainly much easier than doing a brow or jaw re-contouring or a nose job.
