I was watching a TV show and someone mentioned testicle donation.  I googled it, but found it difficult to sift through the troll responses.

I would love to donate a testicle (or both :3) to scientific research, and was wondering if anybody had details on that?

That was disgusting the first time I read it.  Now I know why I keep seeing it pop up every few months. Is that "banned" thread still up?  That needs a ban.

C'mon, I really would like to donate mine.  I could send them the little T-makers packed on some dry ice.  Fed-X delivers anything.  We could take up a collection for them!  "Dear Researcher: Enclosed are two antique testicles that are just like new: low mileage, never wrecked and always garaged."

To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

My lovely spouse has removed too many of those things to even count she says.....but it has always been in an autopsy situation and for research purposes ;)

She is so good at that it only takes her about 30 seconds, and that's from removing them from the inside! Leaving the outside intake.

Never felt like I have to sleep with one eye open....yet

reading that article on train on the way home, finding it very hard to not burst into laughter. Really makes me want to cross my legs and not because I'm a lady!!!

Sorry Hideyoshi, can't answer your initial question.

WOW!!!!!  :o  hhhrrrnnnggg *faints*

Although, I do wonder what they do with "them" or "all that stuff" when the procedures are done. I always think of the movie "Action Jackson" (look it up) when the thought of SRS or an orchi comes up.
"There was a sculptor, and he found this stone, a special stone. He dragged it home and he worked on it for months, until he finally finished. When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

Dr Harold Reed, SRS surgeon in Miami, used to offer a discount on SRS if you donated the testicles.  The demand seems to have dried up and the deal no longer exists.

I donated mine to the hot dog factory in Thailand.

I think I want mine brass plated and hung above my bar.  How's that for a bartifact idea?  Brass ones, anyone?

Anyway, I think I'll eventually have to get the shirt that says, "If I had balls, they'd be bigger than yours."

Now that you mention it, i could have mine bronzed and then hang them from the hitch on my truck lol.

Use them as the clappers in a couple bells. Door bell, Christmas bell, truck alarm bell, whatever.
