Quote from: Yukari-sensei on November 25, 2013, 02:53:08 AMWinter! I love it when it gets down to the 40's (5-10 C)and it starts to drizzle! It's the weather I associate with Christmas! It's perfect when I drive up to San Antonio, when the lights are all lit, the carolers are singing on their boats, and I have a hot latte in one hand and shopping bags in the other!
Quote from: Cindy on November 25, 2013, 02:59:36 AMOne of the hardest things I had when I moved from the UK to Australia was getting use to Christmas in summer. I was from Liverpool UK and it would be dark and cold and traditional for Christmas. Here it is hot and we send each other Christmas cards of Kangaroos pulling Santa's sleigh. Weird!
Quote from: Cindy on November 25, 2013, 04:58:13 AMWell each year I have the family around and we encourage each other to bring a friend so that they can 'suffer' with us. You my dear friend are most welcome, as long as you bring a sense of humour, an appetite, love and tolerance.Yep you pass.Hugs Cindy

Quote from: YBtheOutlaw on November 26, 2013, 06:52:52 AMi like any weather that doesn't make me sweat, but not freaking cold weather like -40 you know. but i can say i generally like cold weather, and since we're a tropical country (yeah ive never seen snow and i cant even imagine being in minus temperatures) cold weather means it's raining or wind is blowing like crazy. i like rain and wind too. and all the above applies until i start sneezing. then i like the warm sun that emerges after cold weather, i like morning sun too. and that's until i start sweating. the average here is around 30C and i don't like it.
