Advice Please

Imagine this tunic sweater with the royal blue as stripes instead of white. What would I get to go along with this? I am very new at this, but I'm thinking tights and boots, but what color tights and boots? Midcalfs or ankle boots? I am 48 and plus-sized, but with decent looking legs.

You can't go wrong with black, it's a slimming color too depending on your taste, an ankle boot/mid-calf (he'll, even knee cut) with a low heel always looks nice (try one with a gold buckle to accentuate the blue and throw off all the black)
