Subscriptions and Donations - Please calm down

There has been some rather excitable posts about subscribing and donating to the Site.

Please: There is no chance of Susan's closing.

Susan will not allow it, and I will not allow it.

If you can help out financially that is great and I thank you.

If you cannot that is totally understood.

I do not want people who are in financial strife to even contemplate financially assisting the site.

It would upset me greatly if anyone feels any pressure to contribute.

That is wrong and against the reasons the site was established.

Susan is fully aware that I will bankroll the site as needed. Susan has been very forthright that she will continue to run the site no matter what.

Each and every member is very precious to me and to Susan.

My love for every member and my support for every member is completely unaffected by anyone's ability to support us financially.

So please I repeat there is no pressure for anyone to financially contribute.

That said (and thank you, Cindy), those of us who can and do support the site in some manner are happy to do so. My 7 or so years here have been very important to me as a way to share with others.
