I learned that a lot of the characters in the Street Fighter EX series were owned by Akira so that's why Capcom doesn't have them in their Street Fighter games now.

According to  lot of people, yes.  I only played the demo, but I from that, I thought the game was very interesting.  I'll probably pick it up when it's .99 cents.

I learned that some of the official viewpoints on diagnosing transsexualism recommend that a patient not receive surgeries until they are thriving in their new gender role.

I kind of have to bring that into question, though. I mean, for example, it's very difficult to live life fully as a man with clearly visible breasts. That's going to cause some discomfort and restrict a lot of activities. Unless one wants to be outed or open about being trans...

it's not bad. people had (admittedly understandable) unrealistic expectations but it is actually more than decent. I'd rather have 10 Duke Nukem Forevers than another Call Of Duty.

I also learned that oil leaves a stain on ant piles and slows ants down.

I learned not to exhaust a lot of my time chasing someone if they don't want to be caught.  If a person really wants to be in your life, they will stay.  If not, then most likely it makes life a bit easier as I can quickly "separate the stainless steel from the silver".

I learned that my friend also does quizzes when he is bored. I also learned that we get the same answers on those quizzes.

Today I learned that wild parsnips can cause burns on your skin. We'd been picking blackberries for a couple of days, and I wore long sleeves but my shirt would get caught on thorns and ride up sometimes when I was climbing from one place to another. It took some googling to find plants that make the kind of non-itchy marks I had on my torso, but the images of wild parsnip matched the stuff that was mixed in with the brambles. Of course, my kid knew all about it when I mentioned it, but I didn't think to ask her first.

She wants to cook and eat the roots, but I think I'm going to just put on some gloves and do my best to remove them from the walking path.

I also learned that if you keep millipedes and dirt in a gallon tapjar, you have probably ended that jar's life as a tea dispenser.
