This website is a worthy undertaking. So many resources and such. But perhaps a goal would be to create a 501C non profit foundation? Rent small, local offices through-out the country educating the masses about Transgender rights and other topics that our specific community wishes to focus upon.
This non profit can find funding for STD treatment, HIV, AIDS, domestic abuse, etc. which are main concerns of the larger community but the primary clientle should be the those who identify Transgendered and/or LGBQ. Hosting call centers and paper printouts of the information compiled at Susan's and other websites. Support groups.
It need not be a large piece of real estate, just several offices here and there...
But who would pay the money for such a thing? Crowdfunding. Let's not worry about money just yet. Money leads to indecision at times.
First, lay the ground-work, then worry about finances later to pay for resources. If not offices, then volunteers can run it outta their homes... we just need a 1800 number. (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill has no central office from what I hear and is run such a way: a network of individuals at home with extensions.)
What shall we call such a non profit? I do not know.
